Bought it...was too impatient for the demo. Wish I had waited for the demo. It’s probably the best sounding (maybe Trillian?) fake bass I’ve heard...but it still sounds like a fake bass to me. I bet you could program it to sounds more realistic, but hell, I could just play it faster. This is just my first thoughts so maybe after some time with it I’ll “get” it more. One thing that has helped me in messing around with it some more since that messy sounding demo I posted is inserting UA’s Ampeg BN 15 sim on the channel while using the EZ Bass clean DI preset.

Actually getting a pretty killer real bass tone with a P and UAD Ampeg 810, API 560 and dbx.

Been digging back into EZ Bass this morning...
Have you guys heard this expansion? Holy fuck. Absolutely NAILS the 60s bass sound. I've been looking for something like this for ages.
www.toontrack.com/product/the-sixties-ebx/The presets played with a pick sound phenomenal. Instant purchase.

With EZ bass you can also play your bass lines on a guitar and drag them in. I have been doing this while in a temporary recording situation and don't have a bass with me. It works really well. The new progressive EBX sounds really good. www.toontrack.com/product/progressive-metal-ebx/
