I'm finally demo'ing Saturn 2. Almost forgot that I'd been intending to before all the BF stuff was over. It's really good. I'll give it a more serious demo this evening (sale ends tonight) but I'm pretty confident it'll be a buy for me. I loved the flexibility of Saturn but didn't care for the actual sonics of the distortion. Saturn 2 sounds right and offers all that crazy flexibility (and more). I'm impressed so far.

Bought. No real way for me to give it up once I spent some time experimenting with this level of flexibility and control over saturation. I just love FabFilter.

Love!!! Use every mix & beat.
Q2 so much for shaping sounds while producing. A carving knife when mixing & M/S, L/R or reg EQ filters in mastering when needed.
I like the different limiting modes in Pro L2. U can push into the limiter & adapt your mix using aggressive or modern or throw it on at the end of a mix, using transparent for client playback or roughs w/o it changing the balance & mix you worked for.
Pro C 2 -> cleanly parallel compress 2 tracks that are already distorted/ saturated. -12 to -18 dB is common w/ 6-9 dB makeup gain. I use the EQ to tailor what I want the compression on. I compress certain frequency ranges in certain instruments as well. Also insert compression for analog saturated vox.
MB can help wonders w/ a pesky vocal or plucked instrument, keys, organs, drum bus. I think the controls are easy to use compared to Waves C6.

Think I might nab Crave EQ today... been thinking about it a lot, and V2 was just released.
