Hey guys it's Eric, "tskguy" I really haven't done much on here so sorry not posting sooner.. So the guys that have already paid and have been waiting for almost a year.. Thank you soooo much for your patience!!! I honestly had thought when we started this venture that I would have delivered these body's by this time last year. Latest is that the machinist is finally rapping up the head baskets (the source of most delays) they are looking really good!! We also had one heck of a time with finding a plater that didn't have his head up is ass! So now I am working with a plater that is doing a fantastic job and the finish is looking spot on. So a realistic timeline if my machinist delivers next week will be body's showing mid to late August.. I tell you this.. They look very nice and are heavy! I hope you guys are happy.. As for another run, I may not be involved, Riggler over on group diy may keep the project going.. If he does the price may go up. But that's up to Riggler..

Hey boys,
It's Eric Heiserman I was mentioned awhile back in this thread.. Good to see some healthy capsule conversations!! And just to confirm a few things, I am currently making my own brass ck12 variant that is sounding pretty good so far.. It is based on an original deep dish style and is constructed as closely as I can get it! And as you all know very well, the sound of a good c12 is a bit allusive so my capsule is modeled after what some trusted folks consider a great sounding c12.. To be a bit more on topic, I have had the pleasure or dis pleasure of re skinning a large number of Chinese capsules. Some are pretty good in terms of backplates but most really suck on the Mylar front.. I use a type of film that is very different from the Chinese stuff and although I can't prove it I assume it contributes to the way they sound. I also think tuning is a big factor as well. Every Chinese capsule I have re skinned has greatly improved the sound. And Shannon, really looking forward to meeting you at NAMM. I will bring some toys for us to play with..
