Hey guys and gals, For the last couple years, Eric and I have been working on creating a new line of high end, USA made microphones and our first product is finally ready! We’re thrilled to announce the Heiserman H47: Here’s the sales blurb: “Versatile, smooth, and detailed -- the Heiserman H47 is a nod to the classic Neumann 47 Fet, which was originally designed as a phantom powered version of the U47 tube mic. The H47 faithfully recreates the sound of the 47 Fet, and excels in all of the same uses. Two years in the making, the H47 was developed alongside, and compared extensively to an original 47 Fet. We think you'll be blown away by the sound of this mic, whether you're a new user or someone experienced with the original vintage mic. Thanks to its smooth, full response, and gentle presence boost, the H47 is well suited to be your main studio mic. Or, if you're looking for a dedicated mic for vocals or kick drum, the H47 is just the ticket!” We’re currently offering the mic for $1,199, and you can reserve one for a pre-order deposit of $350. Mics will ship in February. The promotional price is limited to 25 units, and after that the price will increase to $1,499. It’s available in 3 colors, and ships with a custom Pelican case: If you’d like a shot at winning one for FREE, check out our Facebook giveaway: Heiserman H47 Facebook Giveaway ContestAnd visit the website for more video clips, or to place an order: Heiserman AudioAlso, we’ll be at NAMM in January, so come check out our booth if you’re attending. We’ll be showing off the H47 and 1-2 additional mics.

Yes they look great!! But sound even better.. All made in the states. I have the body's machined here in NC as well as the capsule. Pretty sure you guys are familiar with my work in that regard. We have much more coming in the clip department. I hope some of you guys check it out!

Those mics look great. I never loved the 47FET, but yours did sound just right. Did you make the capsule for the Stam 67?

Super cool. I'm expecting an SA67 eventually. I lent an ear to Josh when he was testing capsules, and the Heiserman was my choice too. I entered the contest, crossing my fingers now ;-)

Looks good except for the orange one, which looks like an MXL. The black one is lovely.

Looks good except for the orange one, which looks like an MXL. The black one is lovely. Glad you like the black one That's why we're offering different options. I think we've actually had the most positive remarks about the Red/Orange version thus far. Unlike an MXL mic, it's a matte finish and no shiny chrome headbasket. I actually own a sparkly red MXL mic -- I bought it for cheap and gutted it and replaced the capsule. Clients love it! Sometimes a little color can be inspiring....

No wonder that Stam 67 capsule sounds fantastic! I'm not a FB/social media person either. So I'll figure out that Instagram "thingee" , to enter the contest too. Chris

I dunno... there's something about a brightly colored LDC that just screams "BEDROOM" at me. (Unlike a brightly colored dynamic, whjich screams "Singing competition show".... )
The grey one's nice, too - looks "professional" (whatever that is....)
