Whilst it's an interesting video, and someone took the time and effort to present it as objectively as possible (intentions wise), That might be far from a fair and unobjective scientific approach there. There are multiple guitar parts and with micing guitar amps, 1/8" in microphone movement can change the sound almost as dramatically as the microphone itself. The way this is presented, you hear the 421 mark 2 as sounding fuller than a vintage 421. That's not consistent with my findings.

Great video! Obviously capsules can age, which is a factor here, and the clips are a bit long for good aural memory comparison (20 seconds is loads).
I still haven't gotten to try my Uher M58 (421 capsule, smaller body) out on toms yet but on cabs you do get that different presence peak to a 57. Though the smaller body means the bass response is a little lighter.
