I wrote two weeks ago, asking for a refund. I was told to hang in there....shipping, apparently, in March.
They didn't specify the year, though.

Yeah, I've still never received mine, either. April will be 2 years.

I finally got my pair of Pultecs on Monday. Ordered them Jan 9, 2018, over two years ago. I placed my preorder less than 30 minutes after Stam’s announcement, but I think I’m towards the end in terms of delivery order. Doesn’t seem to make much difference as far as when you preordered.
But they sound great! I was running some tests and checking them out last night. You can push them really far and they don’t sound bad! Happy to have them.

When you ask Stam it’s always “shipping next month.” I’m contemplating asking for a refund. Any GAS I had has faded over the last couple years. Remember a year ago when Stam said they had fixed all their problems? Lol

Still waiting for my ADG as well. I was one of the first 100 orders. Really frustrating. I could have built one from raw materials in this amount of time.

Fwiw, I also received my EQP from Stam a few months ago, and it sounds really good- kept me from asking for a refund on the ADG a lot sooner.
I highly recommend testing the living daylights out of any gear you get from him- and as soon as you get it. I've had issues with my two previous orders, and one was out of warranty by the time I discovered it.

Hey Indie, No issues with the EQP thus far, and I really like its subtle power. Feels like you can push it off the cliff without destroying your source material.

Josh,
Also, I see that you posted on FB about ADFs getting shipped. What gives? The ADG was announced prior to the ADF, so shouldn't you be taking care of ADG orders before ADF orders?

Best Yoda impersonation - "Youngling, incorrect your reasoning is..."
When did Logic play into any of this absurdity?
(And I mean the 2nd part of the definition i.e. wildly unreasonable).

You may be correct, though, even in these absurd times, I still like to hold onto the notion of logic.

There is no need to test the living daylight on any of my units but it won't hurt either, this however has already been done for you. 48 hour burn and strict checklists. I make hundreds upon the hundreds units a month, I almost never hear anything about a bad unit but it happens as with any manufacturer. Older designs had different protocols, perhaps the ones you had issues with (sorry you had them!) but we now have a 0.1% failure rate with the existing QC , don't believe I have ever had a Pultec have an issue, could be wrong but I don't recall it.

I am alone at the lab with most workers at home thus things are slow.
Questions about your place in line or pending balances have to be addressed to the girls at info@stamaudio.com. I do not know your place in line nor when it will specifically ship. When I finish one I pass it own and focus on the next one
I decided a while ago to focus on soldering and getting work done which is my main job thus anything related to customer service and shipping dates I don't handle anymore nor do I have information on.
I literally sit down everyday and do my job.
Price now is 1090 in stock, those who waited got my work for free, quite a good deal. Those who don't want to wait for the any further the refund policy includes PayPal fees
Enjoy your weekend and stay healthy

It sucks to read thread after thread of people being dragged along for two plus years on a single piece of gear they were excited to order. Makes me glad I got out of my order when I did.
You may make some good sounding gear, but you will always be a terrible, terrible businessman.

So I inquired at the "info" email address Josh mentioned and got this:
"Nevertheless, we finally received the chassis for these gears, we are just waiting some components to start the shipments, but our suppliers have had several delays due this same reason, as well. Hopefully we will ship this gears during the next month as the ADF´s as well."
How is it that we've been told innumerable times over the last two years that the ADGs were about to ship out and yet they apparently just now received the chassis and are still waiting on other components?
I'm kind of over getting worked up about Stam delays, as I've accepted that I will hopefully get a shipping email one day eventually, but I won't know when that will be.
But this chassis thing just strikes me as weird. Anyone get a response like this?

Got two Audioscape 76As, Audioscape V Comp, and a Heritage HA609. The Stam pieces I did get (2 x SA3As and SA47Fet) I like and use often. I wish Josh the best, I just couldn't wait any longer.
