stam What's this about a 1073EQMK2? What's the difference between that and the MK1? I have been working on something truly special here but I can't reveal it just yet and I certainly don't know if it will work Let's just say it's a major added feature not available on the 1073 market today If you can get it to switch between 1073, 1066, 1081 EQ modes and output stages, that would be pretty sweet. And BTW, the 76ADG is revolutionary and you hit it out of the park with that one. Best since the SA2a |

Yes, there will be a 1073MK2, a SA76A+ (with really cool features) and probably a Pultec MK2 one day I am always looking for ways to add value and give more tools to customers. |

Josh is saying March now. I ordered in April of 2018 if I remember correctly. So I'm thinking I'll hit the full two year mark before it's all over.
I may just turn around and sell them if anyone is interested, once I get them of course. I'll have to see how they sound.

When he announced the new delivery date of March a few days ago, he said it was because a circuit board redesign had to be done due to whatever effect the old circuit board design was having on transistors, which was causing some of them to fail. Or something like that. So now the new boards are either being redesigned or maybe they've already been ordered. Who knows? |

The delivery dates we get from Stam mean absolutely nothing. I don't think it is worth writing an email and asking when; you'd get just as accurate of an answer by throwing a dart at a calendar...if you have a calendar that spans three years into the future.
I ordered mine in May of 2018 and was in the second batch. Since some of the people in the first batch still haven't received theirs I'm not confident that I'll be getting mine in the next 6 months.
They tried to get me to place an order for my 50% discount item before receiving the ADG but I'm not going to send more money when I haven't received this yet. Based on my communications with Stam it seems it may take a bit of arguing to get them to honor the discount. Also it seems it's my responsibility to keep track of my order and show them that I placed it and paid the pre-order money. I think they just use the gmail inbox and paypal as their order tracking systems.
If I cobble together enough money to get a Summit TLA-100A before this ships I might cancel my order and do that instead. The KT76's I bought a year ago have been playing the 1176 role well for me and the ADG 'tis but a far fetched dream.
At least the gear sounds good.

I got an email from Camilla asking me about that a while back and I simply said that I wasn't ready to make a decision and didn't have to make a decision yet because I hadn't received my ADG. I'm skeptical of them honoring the deal at all. |

Potential, isn’t necessarily actual.
I had a perfectly amicable email exchange with Camila and then Josh 1-2 months ago about the 50% discount. Josh just asked me to refresh his memory about the circumstances , which I did and he reconfirmed my having a 50% discount on one unit of my choice.

Argument might have been too strong of a word.
He had listed an extra Pultec for sale and I asked if I could use the discount on that and he replied that the discount was expired and asked what I had ordered that qualified for the discount. I was a little surprised that he didn’t know what I had ordered, I mean don’t they keep track of who has ordered what? After I referenced him saying in this thread that the discount would be extended if we still haven’t received our gear, he immediately backed down and said my discount isn’t expired and wouldn’t be before my ADG arrives. So not really an argument but I did have to remind him of what he promised, where he promised it, and what I had ordered. And I wasn’t allowed to use it on that pultec, I guess it has to be on pre-order stuff.
I guess in Stam’s defense, I have lived and worked in a few different Latin American countries and this is how everything always is: very disorganized and very late. Stam might be worse than most though.
My concern with the ADG is if he has to redesign or re-order parts we might be looking at another year.
