Don't you just ask for it, if you cancel your order ? I don't know what his procedure is for it. Better to ask than to do what I think should be done to find out in a month that I did it wrong when no refund shows up. I understand, but he has told us here numerous times if we want a refund just to email him ? A week or so ago, Joshua seemed to sweeten that offer by implying you could cancel your order but jump back into the que at your original spot when product started shipping and get a 25% discount on a future order.

To date, I have four different email addresses for Stam. I have no idea which is the correct one to use for a refund and I'd like to avoid the confusion of sending it to the wrong email or any problems that could occur by sending it to all the emails. I'll be more comfortable with the process if stam tells me directly which email address to use. Also, I'd like some public confirmation that I'll receive a FULL refund, including the $500 extra I sent for the NOS upgrade for the 67. I don't want to request a refund thinking my full $900 is coming back only to find out later some amount was withheld due to the NOS upgrade being a special order.

From december the 1st the only email will be info@stamaudio.com
My sister Barbara works with us and has access to our accounts, paypal and refunds.
So does Camila, (camila@stamaudio.com) who is in charge of operations. I will also have my personal email Joshua@stamaudio.com
For customers the email is info...
Thanks

That is true, however I have never refused nor not paid a refund, even past 180 days to any client, ever, in 6 years. I am not going to start changing that, that would be stealing money and the end of my business. stam , that's not protection. How do I get a refund on the $200 deposit I made for an ADG and the $700 deposit I made for the NOS SA67? You are protected on PayPal for 180 days After that, there is no protection but my word. I am sure that if you come here and say I never gave you something back nobody would ever buy from me again on this forum and others... It's quite simple.

Well, it's not jumping back into the que in the same position. It's just the preorder pricing level that is maintained. You would lose your place in line and all of the potential difficulties that come with that.

How are you unprotected and how am I holding your money? We're unprotected because your constant delays take us past the period where PayPal affords us buyer protection. PayPal has a 180 day limit to begin a dispute. As of today, you have had $900 of my money for much longer than 180 days. Your original promised delivery date, had it been met, would have been within the 180 day limit. The delays take us outside the limit. That is how you are holding my money and how my money is unprotected. This is why you should still use a credit card through PP. Then you can dispute it any time with the CC company. Now you know Start doing that. Its the safest way to do online purchases. Your CC company will always be on your side unlike PP or ebay or whatever. If you didn't pay with a CC thats you're own fault..

When I use my credit card in PayPal plus exchange fees the costs are exorbitant .

My credit card wants it within two billing cycles beyond that they might be an advocate but no guarantees but I am speculating beyond that point and why I said check your sixes folks. Our US Prez and his businesses have left many out to dry with many bankruptcies.
Oops, no politics my bad. My backspace key is broken and I have no earthly idea how to edit or even preview this post :-) Stam will come through, eventually.

When I use my credit card in PayPal plus exchange fees the costs are exorbitant . That sucks, like most I tend to think in domestic terms, so my bad. I guess like everything it’s a trade off, at this point I use an Amex prepaid card for almost all purchases just for the protection, unless I know and like the people I’m dealing with, in fact a week ago we were out at restaurant got horrible service and food so I paid with the Amex. I wasn’t going to protest anything left a minimal tip but figured the 5% Amex fee was a subtle way of giving them the middle finger.

JK delete this if you want. Just wanted to share that I ordered something the other day and same day received a confirmation email and follow up to some questions. It seems Stam’s staffing up is improving his customer relations communications.

Hoping to speed the process along, I paid the installment invoices on both 76ADGs on order yesterday, and canceled the 1073EQ orders, with instruction to apply to $400 paid on them towards the 76ADGs thus making the 76s paid for in full and hoping I get mine within a couple of weeks!! Of course, they'll be traveling through the Christmas rush. oh boy...

I’m tired of the waiting game and want out of one order. I need to cancel one order and put it towards my other order. How do I get a hold of Stam Audio?

I have to admit there are advantages to living in a secure building and having a camera right outside your door. Hell yesterday the security guy walked the FedEx Guy up and let him into my neighbors place to let him to my neighbors with a brand new 60in Samsung 4K.

Hello, I have not send second installments requests on the SA4000 and SA76ADG, we normally don't request second deposits on units that have a lower cost to manufacture. I am almost done with the 1073's and 47 shipments, after this I can start building these babies. The ADG is the most difficult and challenging project I have ever attempted (with the Pultec with mids), it is a Frankenstein inside there to make this work. I hope you guys can enjoy have all those options, most engineers said they were impossible to achieve but here we are! Thanks Josh
