A Burl Bomber A/D and a Thiersch capsule upgrade for my mic. If I was writing to Santa, I'd say the new Apple Mac Pro wouldn't look too shabby on my desk..

FYI I was introduced to Emotiva around the time of the NAMM show 2013. I gotta hand it to them i was really impressed with the whole setup. High End gear for the Amount of $CHANGE$ AWESOME. I personally have a set of the AIRMOTIV speakers. If anyone is familiar with what i do, or anyone in the industry for that matter, know important they are. You gotta check them out. If anyone need a contact name ask for a guy named Nick Hetzler tell him that i said to look him up. Or whatever he will understand. The owner is kewl as hell to Dan Laufman. great ppls. They recently just bought out Carver Electronic as well.
Hey johnkenn didnt you get some stuff from them as well.
Inside line I heard that they have alot of things in the works for the future, it came from a really good source. I think we may be hearing a lot more and soon. I know many of us will be very happy and it goes along with there philosophy about making high end stuff affordable. i will keep you posted. They are gonna be a big player in the future.....
Also check out that Stealth line BAD ASS

Right now, I'm waiting for my second BAE 1028 to be delivered. Once that is paid off, I'll start looking for a Urei 1176 Rev D. Or an LA2A. Or two SSL E-Series EQs. Or..... I have a long 'Dream On' list.

Levon, look into Warm Audio's upcoming 1176 Rev D piece, I think it's gonna be killer. www.warmaudio.comSinsay, I've seen ads for Emotiva products in Stereophile, where they do good looking low priced gear. Please tell me more about what they're up to. I would love something that compares to a Burl Bomber, at 1/4 the price ;-)

I just want a new rack. I have the old API 6 banger and it's under-powered for my 6 cards. Only 5 will work at once. It worked fine when it wasn't filled with pres, but I guess 6 pres require more than it can give. Unfortunately, the cheapest big rack is the Lindell 510, but it's been pushed out over and over making me think it must have design flaws. Anyway, I want a rack and all my plugins to work in PT11, then I want everything to work on the new Windows flawlessly. If that all happened in 2014 I'd be pretty happy. I think this year is going to be about kicking out the tunes. 2 releases in the works. One completely punk rock - the other completely not.

2014 will probably see me selling a huge amount of my gear.
The client base just isn't justifying what I have. I'll always have something for me...my recent post about the Burl/API A2d is actually about that. Needing mixing "horsepower" is simply for the clients. I do my own 24/88 stuff on mostly anything...assuming I've got a solid in and out. Studio gear is disposable to me. I've got some nice collection of vintage stuff I do love...but, if it has to go, I won't sweat it too much. As long as I have my instruments and amps...couple of channels of pre/EQ...small handful of purpose mics (81s, sm7, 121)...solid monitoring...I'm pretty confident I can do my OWN work close enough to the level of now that I'm happy with...

Worst answer to "new gear you want" ever.

However, the German dealers haven't listed it yet, so I'm not sure it'll make it's way over here.
