I wish I could get rid of the click when making beats. I don't think you can disable the metronome in Tap2Find, but you could try turning down the metronome volume. I think it's in Settings -> Metronome Settings. Also make sure you've got it updated to the latest version, as they didn't make the Tap2Find metronome volume linked to the main metronome volume control until fairly recently.

why would you want to get rid of the click in Tap to Find?

Because there's so much latency. I follow the click when creating a simple beat, but because of the delay, I hear it around 1/2 a beat late.

just change your buffer to 128 and then change back after you find the groove.

m03, I already had Superior Drummer. I simply downloaded EZ Drummer, installed, and there it was in my DAW. I use Logic X. It is weird though. They guy in the video obviously had no issues. I'll look into it further tomorrow. Because it just a simple beat making process, I can pretend I don't hear the delay, even though it's awkward, or maybe just turn down the volume and make the beat in my head. Still, it is odd.
I'll send a note to Toontracks tomorrow if the answer isn't obvious once I look around.
* I'll try that tomorrow John, maybe that's all it is, wrong buffer size.

It's just latency. If you put a plugin piano on and tried to play it, you'd have the same problem. Also, do you have any plugs on the master bus? The master bus usually isn't delay compensated, so you'll hear all that latency.

Thanks John, I forgot to even look at the EZ Drummer today. I'll see if I can figure it out tomorrow..
