Will they only show up when you put something in the cart?

I don't have a single damn coupon. Bastards. Did you take the last survey they sent? Had a $25 coupon from that show up in my account today.

Pretty positive I did. But honestly, I still don't think I'd buy it for $225. I mean, I'm not saying it's not worth it, I'm saying it's not worth it for me.

I think you have to put something in the cart, then it'll take you to a page where you can see your coupons. I wish they'd allow something like a maximum of $100 worth of coupons to be saved instead of expiring.
Bummer you don't have any coupons John. It's really fun to have $50 - $100 credit when you'r spending $200.
I caught a lucky break. There was a UAD event at a recording studio in Brooklyn hosted by Alto Music. Those who attended were offered a special, one time only $300 coupon if they purchased an Apollo. I got that, plus around $200 more for for getting a new device and some other things.
So, I paid $24 for the BX20, $74 for the API, and got the 1073 free. I also got a free Helios EQ, but doubt I'll ever use it, I have so many EQ's.
I doubt I'll be buying many more plugs for a while. The BX20 is useful, the API seems killer. I actually want to wean myself off of plugs as soon as I can afford more outboard.

When I started with UAD the coupons very seldom expired one reason why I don't buy a plug in form UAD anymore. Would I love to use the Vertigo as saturation tool- yes I would but not at this price for a plug in.
Buy 6 ones and save big?
Hej ho I don't need 6 ones.... I want to buy one or maybe two which I use everyday.
The whole marketing they do is not meant for pro long time customers. Its a kids hurry up and buy something before its expires story.
I see myself leaving the DSP Platform.
There are many powerful Native plug ins sounding as good as the UADs.
Just to name KUSH SLATE SOUNTOYS KLANGHELM.
The new Kush Tube preamp simulation sounds gorgeous at 29$

I am agonizing right now over if I should use the coupon and the sale price to buy the Chandler Zener. Every time I've demoed it I liked it.

I was thinking about selling my Apollo and switching to a UAD2 card or satellite. Yup, I always see the coupons in the shopping cart page.

Since the chandler emu are softube does anyone think they will go native? Also with UAD ending upgrade pricing looks like they are really " desperate ". Idk why they would revert on an ancient policy like that.. I cannot stand how they give expiring coupons. Then once you purchase they usually send another coupon. Wow, really 🤔😩 If you guys had given me the after purchase coupon before the purchase I would have purchased more. I'm not going back to the site once I made a transaction to then make another. Plus some credit cards as a safety feature will reject the second purchase if made back to back or in too close of a time period to the same website/ vendor/ store...
I do not think the chandler plug is worth $224... with a $25 coupon that's $199, I still would not purchase, that's me. $149 or better UAD new twin mk2 buyers are paying $600 extra for outdated dsp chips, not to mention the Satellite and pcie card users who had that expense... At 3:1 sales at $149 they will see way more money than 1 sale at $349/299/249...

The most funny thing is if they give you an 50$ voucher, you go to the store and all prices are 50$ higher too.. LOL

However, they haven't releasedh their Curve Bender natively from earlier this year. Also, their Marshall amp sims from 2015 are stil "UAD exclusive". Not that they still won't ever release natively, but it may be years from now. I really like the Zener. I think it's a great sound that I can't get from my other gear. Have you listened to the hardware comparisons that Randy and Jerome did?

not actually but I understand why you think that, right now the store prices are regular prices other than the mastering stuff which is on sale
so ua gives people a $50 coupon off the regular prices
since last nov/dec, there have been a variety of prices and discounts available, plus other deals on satellites, apollos, twins,so it can get confusing.

I think it's even more black and white than that. Sometimes you get coupons. Sometimes you don't. Some months UA has sales. Some months they don't. These are independent of each other. You can use your coupon on stuff that's on sale as well as stuff that's not on sale. mrholmes They're not raising the price of their plugs by $50 just because you got a coupon this month. That's just false information.

I agree sometime you can use coupons for stuff that is on sale but not all the time.
I know some people would prefer that ua just set a consistent lower price and not have all these sales based on the list price.
Its mostly marketing spin but the custom bundle 3/$399, 6/$799 etc.: that sale provides UA's best prices, as you can get $300 plugs in for $133, other than that you typcialy have to wait a coupel of years for teh newer plugs to start to be discounted.
So the drop in the zener price is unusual plus you can use the $50 coupon

I'm surprised they don't cross incentivise people who buy their hardware. I now have a hardware UA LA2A, 1176 and 2-610 and nothing in any plugin coupon for buying much more expensive hardware.

Great idea swurveman. Maybe send an email to UAD. They do pay attention to requests and suggestions.

Great idea swurveman. Maybe send an email to UAD. They do pay attention to requests and suggestions. I'd also tell them that I paid $1,699.00 for their Quad PCIE card which they now sell for $699.00 Not at all happy about that. One of the worst hardware decisions I've made.

I feel ya there swurveman.
I bought my previous iMac two months before they came with Thunderbolt. It worked fine, but I needed to update from firewire to thunderbolt to run the new Apollo ad the satellite, so I had to get another computer when I went for the the recent "buy an Apollo, get a free satellite" deal.
Funny thing is, my long term plan is to eliminate 75% or more of the plug-ins I use now. I hope to eventually upgrade to a Symphony, and sell my Apollo, keeping the satellite to run plugs. I'd use the Ocean Way plug, ATR-102 or Oxide, and the API 2500, the rest, I can live without. If i get the Stam SSL compressor, I probably won't even use the 2500, or maybe just a little here and there.
