Just picked an Adcom GFA 555 PRO from the Salesbaron fully tested and working. This is the rack mountable one with handles with 4 fuses on the front. It also has the balanced inputs. Next stop Jim Williams for the Mod. I was going to post a 70kb picture but it says the RGO site has reached its limits for attachments. Time for more donations.

Lot of UAD Unison preamps (three!) as well as a Presonus Faderport incoming, and most likely there will be Cubase 9 within the next 3 days.

I recently added one of BradM & drbill's Silver Bullets to my rig and am loving it. I'll be mixing my first album with it this fall and have some radio singles coming up also that it will get used on. I also recently snagged a early 90's 6.5x14 Black Beauty and a Gretsch New Classic 5.5x14 Maple snare. Both sound fantastic

Presonus Faderport feels like a game-changer. It's just something I'm immediately using heavily, constantly, like it should have always been there. I was nervous about it for a long time, hesitant, but I can give it a very strong recommendation now after doing the first track with it. It's not a big commitment because it's very small, and was only $130, so I finally took a chance on it. Not sure if I'm going to need a bigger control surface yet, or just use the heck out of this little one. And, more importantly, the whammy bar for my PRS came in today

I wired up a patchbay for a friend/client, and he paid me in cymbals, and I'm always down to get more cymbals.
Paiste 602 Modern Essentials 20" Crash Paiste 17" Fast Crash Paste Twenty Masters 20" Crash/Ride (this one is freaking amazing)

Grabbed a VP28, probably the 7th one I've owned but I always end up selling them to friends and musicians who can't build them on their own so it'll be nice to have one of my own again! Hopefully pick up another one to have a pair again soon.

And, more importantly, the whammy bar for my PRS came in today Our iMac only has a pair of USB 3.0 ports with our RME Madiface USB using one and a USB 3.0 external drive on the other. I was seriously thinking of picking up Faderport also but they are only USB 1.1 and I'm concerned about it killing the speed of our USB 3.0 bus.

Somewhere buried in this thread I got the KV331 Syntmaster2 for $10 on some kind of holiday blowout sale. Anyway, I got the summer sale "crossgrade" for the new Synthmaster One, for $20! It's a simplified version of the same thing including new features such as wavetable oscillators, which I'm a big fan of, apparently.
I've been so invested in checking out my new gear that I have written 4 songs in the past 48 hours, as well as baked 2 berry pies from scratch. Phew! Time to watch some UFC.

Behringer HA4700 (headphone amp) - I had the older one for years but sold it off. With the Apollo/D-Box setup I had 4 headphone outs, which is about all I ever need. I sold those and switched to the Symphony MKII which took me to ONE headphone out. I've actually preferred the sound of the Behringer headphone amps to others I've heard that cost more. It's also got unreal power, simple low and hi shelf EQ per channel, lots of routing, aux input stuff. I really like it. I've got some ladies coming over to add some BGV sauce to my record and needed to get more headphone channels up and running. I'm also soldering up some headphone extension cables with the locking female TRS connectors. I can't stand loose, in and out headphone extensions.
A.R.T. P16 - Simple 16 channel XLR patchbay. Should have done this years and years ago. Let's me have all my mic pre inputs down in the front of my rack so I don't have to crawl around to patch mic cables in. Mic pre outputs all go to the TRS bay so I can put them through whatever I want or just into the Symphony, never climbing around back.
Also got a load of connectors and wire from Redco.
Warm WA-412 - showing up this week. I have been jonesing for one of these since they were announced. I liked my pair of WA-12s and I think these are even better. I lost 4 mic preamps in switching from Apollo to Symphony and was always planning on replacing them with a WA-412. The more big, beefy, discrete, transformer coupled pres the better, in my world.
Dynaudio LYD 48 - supposed to be available to ship this coming week, we'll see. If they're not a love match I'll send them back but I'm keen to try them.

That's awesome, ragan, there's a lot of suprising gear with the Behringer livery on it. Let us know how the WA-412 works out that seems like such a perfect product!

We have a rather old Behringer Powerplay HA4000 headphone amp which is still going strong and can drive 250 ohm Beyer DT770's loud enough to homogenise the brains of even the deafest drummers.
