Feels a bit like a first date........ I cleaned off the other guy's dirt, put on a couple of my own scratches ..... yep, that feels like a first date .... Nice looking guitar! LOL!! One thing to add. This guitar, no matter how hard you play it, will not go out of tune. Like the perfect woman, or something, haha.

If it wasn't difficult enough already hooking up cell phones and tablets etc. for clients who want to playback audio in the control room Apple, and others, have now seen fit to drop 3.5mm mini jacks. Heritage Audio BT500 Bluetooth receiver (500 series) Supposedly almost lossless with the codec my HTC uses. Currently cheaper here in OZ than in the US ($199 AUD versus $199 USD) Should arrive by the end of the week. I think I've replaced about 6 mini jack cables in the past year. For some reason people find them useful and they disappear. I think I'll stick it in it's own single bay 500 series enclosure. Not sure if I want a Bluetooth receiver right next to a mic pre.

New pair of Seymour Duncan Seth Lover pickups just went into the LP. For being "PAF Style" the Seth Lovers and the Gibson Burstbuckers they are replacing could not be more different. Sounds like a tilt EQ has been applied to either one. Gibsons real muddy, Seth Lovers much brighter (which is what I was after). The lower strings are now playable. Before it was just mud down there. I think another place I'd go from here is to try some Lindy Fralins, for something a little hotter than these. But for now, I have sort of a vintage-style LP thing going on which is pretty cool. Sort of the yin and yang with my vintage-style Strat. Also my first Seymour Duncan purchase, I don't know how I survived so long without ending up with some.

To combat the nasty slippery sweaty during longer tracking sessions, thought to do something kind for myself. I joined in on a Massdrop scheme and snagged these maroon velvet earpads for my ATM-M50X headphones. I feel as draped in the lap of luxury and my 12 year old daughter immediatly "borrowed" them. Thank you Massdrop!

Chase, you have the Barefoot Footprints? They're very similar to my Avantone Abbey. I bet they sound really good.

@thephatbaby Martin John ButlerHaha hey guys 🤘 I want more than anyone to plug them in. They have been in the boxes 2-3 weeks now. If I open the boxes I know what I will do, Throw them up instantly and for go better judgement 😂😂 I have had pretty steady with this past month and just landed another mastering gig and didn't want to start on brand new monitors. I also ordered the stands that are made specifically for the Barefoot FootPrint 01 by Sound Anchor and feature decoupling 😎 Punish myself by treating myself HaHa The stands I have now won't be sufficient for the FP01 weight which is 35 lbs a piece. The argosy classic 36" stands that are $179 are a great choice if you already have decoupling devices. I don't, so add $220 and then the FP01 stands are cheaper 😎🤘

jcoutu1I don't have the new stands yet, i just bought them. I have two sets of monitors one pair of stands. Plus putting monitors up side by side is not the truest representation of what the monitor can/ will perform. Also not how I want to judge my new monitor right out of the box 🙃 By the time I receive the stands, I will be done with the projects I am working on 😎 They prob ship this Wed, so I'm guessing next week, maybe Tuesday or Wed, idk yet.

Don't forget you HAVE to break them in Chase. Do not judge them for at least 100 hours, prefererably 150-200 hours. I use a Stereophile breaking in disc, with frequency sweeps and ultra-dynamic music.
