On the far right, RCA 86 limiter extension gain reduction meter, probably from a transmitter control console. Bigger than a standard 86A meter, it might also be used to make your 86's match the look of your BA-6's in the rack with a change of mounting bracket. That's an original 86 meter in the middle, held in front of a 96A limiter which also has a V.I. position.

The aesthetics in those days still wow me. They could make something so functional and state-of-the-art for the time, yet consider design as being a worthy consideration. Love it.

My latest mic purchase, a Telefunken badged U47 from Puk Studios. Elton John and George Michaels have most likely sung in it. Might want to get that cleaned.

Your just Jealous because your revolving door isn't spinning as fast!😁 * You're (contraction of you + are) just Jealous because your(this is fine, possessive 2nd person) revolving door isn't spinning as fast! If you're going to start correcting Eric's spelling, you're going to be a busy man.

John I'm torn as to if I should fully restore it or leave it as is. Except for the capsule it's all original and sounds beautiful.

Monster 8x15 1959 Slingerland snare Oh fudge! Excited to mess with this one, it came with a busted bottom head but I've got one on that way. Hoping it'll sound like a 10 pounds of fudge being dropped on the kitchen table.

I think I'd be superstitious in the case of that mic Tim. If it's right, don't change anything, because everything matters.

I just got my Upton 251. Man, these look killer, I need to plug it in. I will try and test it after I finish testing and tuning a few more ID DI's and send them out. But dang I am pumped to try it out.

Interested in hearing your thoughts on the Upton. I picked up a Flea 49 recently that first record with it I like but it's pretty mellow and thinking it be nice to have something with a little more "sparkle" on top for certain things

After a little testing the Upton is a fantastic mic. I am gonna really like having it in my locker.
BTW, very low noise as well. Which is a huge plus.

I've been trying to find a Flea 49 to audition of the past year but it seems there's none out my neck of the woods.
