TLM67 with the Max Kircher/IOAudio U67 circuit. Just tracked a couple things quickly with it but my first impression is "HOLY SHIT". Need to track more with it ASAP. Man does it sound good. I've thought about that combo myself. Any chance we'll get some samples?

Did I mention I also bought a Friedman compressor? God bless Dave. This thing is what every Marshall needs!

Nice! Thanks for sharing the link, monkeyxx No prob! :-D Synthmaster is spectacular! I was just flipping through presets and there are so many good sounds this one can do. For $10 it's a no-brainer. I can see why this synth sometimes wins polls and shootouts. Now I just need get a handle on the user interface and layout, there's a lot going on.

It's been a merry christmas and happy new year. Got a new Collings D2HA Traditional and Serpent SB4001 that I really like and I have a pair of IGS 576 Blue Strips on the way. Also sold a PRS Private Stock the I never really bonded with to cover all of it.

Cubase Pro 8, PC, Windows 10. I tried one version of Serum that was doing the same thing. Rapidly scrolling through a bunch of presets seems to crash this one on my PC. Which sucks because I was starting to write a new song, and my track got lost with the crash. Hopefully they can sort out some of these bugs in a future release. There is also an older update available for download that I didn't try yet.

Demo sounds like a good plan. The last thing I'll try is the older version to see if it crashes or not. Which sucks though, because you lose the features they added.

Good News! the latest 2.7 update from Synthmaster seems to be very stable on my computer. I guess I'll hold out for some newer updates before moving to 2.8. At this point it's still highly recommended from me, one of the best ones out there that I have heard to date. Especially for $10.

Ok thanks maybe I am mistaken, however I watched a couple vids where it was included in the retail package... I guess that's why some are $140 and some are $169... Thanks for the link

Well that's it I am OFFICIALLY done.! (maybe). Last bit's: 3U audio G267FET and a Warbler 1. Progressive pack for Superior Drummer. Whole of the T-racks suite from IK. There is a Neumann U87AI for sale with a couple hundred dollars off it because the box has been opened or something, quite interested. Although, brought some peeps round for a couple of beers (well a soft drink for me) and one of them is a sound engineer, the other a musician and the final one is like a piece of furniture. How long have you been here? About 2 hours.! Oops.! Anyway, out of some listening tests nobody could really tell the difference between the Warbler 1 and the Fet. I did use monitors / can's etc. Then we compared U87 clips to the Warbler 1, I've never seen such a mixed bag. Two of them again couldn't tell the difference and proceeded to get it wrong constantly, myself and another dude managed to guess it right 4 / 5 times, but again we really did struggle and they did say to me there isn't a justifiable difference. Doesn't mean I won't buy it, just that the 3U Audio's will get more use and the U87 would come out for more ambitious projects or if I decided to record others again.

Thanks jcoutu1 for recommending the adapter kit plus enclosure. Was able to grab that plus a new set of husky 00/ 0 Phillips and flat plus t6 torx for the mbp, all in a convenient 5 piece package... looking forward to not stripping my mbp screws and finally getting ready for 64 bit.... Ok so I have 12.4 and El Capitan and upgraded plugs and Daw on one of my OWC drives I was testing for stability ... I also have sample libraries and lots of PT sessions... I want to clone my Mac hd ( OS X Lion ) to Samsung 850 evo then upgrade to el cap from the OWC ( hoping this will save some upgrade time on plugs ? ) or Sierra new install. Idk if I would have to then do more upgrade Daw and plugin wise for Sierra... So I may just go to Sierra, this stuff shouldn't be this complicated lol... hoping ilok and I are on the same team tonight 🤣ðŸ¤

Some 9V batteries, recorded some geetar's.. Reached for a bass, realised it had active pickup's and I had no batteries.
Short session, must admit.

Before Christmas I picked up this very pristine, Telefunken badged KM56 with an N52 power supply and shockmount.
