Most definitely! I'd always heard that, but never had the chance to hear it for myself till now. Firmly a believer now! You're gonna fit in just fine around here! I sure hope so! Next on my list is a Silver Bullet mk2, followed by an IAA V2. I want to get my hardware mastering chain set up first. I also have a pair of Hairball Audio Lola's...holy crap they're awesome!!! HUGE step up from the pres in my Audient iD44 interface.

I may be biased because I consider Brad and Matt friends, but your looking at hardware from guys I consider to be some of the most talented designers around today.

LUCID ADA 8824 Made a low offer on reverb , didn’t think think it would be accepted. It was ! Should be good for inserts in PT.

I got SONNOX CLARO eq plugin.
But I'm kicking my own ass to finish writing a new song before I test it, so I have a real reason to use it.
Guitars are done need to add drums and a vocal before I can start digging in.

This came in today. I’m KEEPING IT!!!!! Hey Patrick. It's like you read my mind. I was tempted to suggest a 47 style for that exceptional Baritone of yours. If it'd cool, be sure to post up some stuff for us to listen to. Sounds like you've got a great grasp of the Classic Hip Hop vocals. Chris

Too my surprise this mic is bright BUT smooth….. I was expecting super toob like sound but then again DAVE always has someway of remixing parts and stuff.

Kid stole the MDR7506’s out of my go bag so I replaced them. Hey I know them, they play nice with any headphone amp including the iPhone, closed back with OK isolation, and are efficient as hell.

YOUCHOOB SNIP Man, I love that . . . and love that groove from the drum loop. WHere's it from? Oops, sorry, off track. 100% hear what you're saying: Bright and SUPER smooth! Almost, smoove, as my hiphop producer son likes to say.

The producers edition and new LE version come with the AK47. Was just curious. I really liked the sound of this clip. I liked it more so than your WA800 clip. Just my preference, but I thought I'd throw it out there. I am by no means a hip hop producer.

The AK capsule is the same in the CM800T. After recording I realized, dang I saved ALOT of money. This 47 is what the warm should have been. Bright but still maintaining the body of the vocals. Now I have to get the 47le / ve to get the 47 equivalent. I’m at this point where I may just purchase every advanced mic because the hi’s are nice and NOT shrill.

I did that a while back when I was finding my sound over here and discovered I love the 49 sound and 67 sound for the Jazz and classical work I do. Then I upgraded from there. The AA mics are a really nice place to start your mic journey. Warm has been hit or miss for me. I like their 47, but their 87 and 67 sound dull. I can't place my finger on why, but I don't really like their 251 either.
