If its bare wire or pins yes, if it's banana plugs or screw lugs no. I don't remember how your wire is terminated! But you will need 3 pairs of speaker wire 1 amp to switcher 2 switcher to Amphions 3 switcher to Jims faves, personally like JW I'm a kimber cable guy but it's a bitch to work with, so I'll say your best bet is generic 12ga. I used to buy cheap generic 12ga extension cords chop the ends and terminate ( probably just tin the ends at the switcher box and crimp on Or solder Spade lugs amp and speaker ends ) in my poor kids live rig. That is the most complicated shit I have ever read.

Musicians friend is doing 20% off a bunch of stuff with the coupon 'holidaysavings' --- but it doesn't apply to everything. However, they also sent me a different (single use) coupon code via email, also for 20% off, and it seems to work on just about everything.

Been trying to sell my license for my full version of Microshift, now they just devalued my license because everyone can get an upgrade cheaper. Bastards.

JRR has the Blue Kiwi for $999. Seems like a smoking deal. Also, this plug for a buck. Anyone used it? Not sure I want to clutter up my plugs folder more, but a buck is hard to resist. I probably have it in loose change in my pocket. www.jrrshop.com/audiffex-sta-preamp

Man, a Blue Kiwi for 1k? That's seriously good. If that deal was available when I was looking for my main mic a few years back, I'd have jumped on it.
For Black Monday, I used my $25 coupon, and finally bought the Ocean Way UAD plug. Haven't used it yet..

No offense, but harsh words, given the sizable and growing contribution Soundtoys is making to support refugeee support actions ? Perhaps, you can see any percieved loss as a a similiar contritution: one world ? ?

My consumer guy says no ! You need to find a box with Binding posts to use those pins. you don't need banana plugs for amphion one 18, if you unscrew the black insert speaker connector piece, you will see traditional holes and compression fits for bare wire connects .

Much the same way you were upset when UA was giving away free Thunderbolt upgrades for Apollo's when other people paid $500 for them. I don't need to give Soundtoys money for them to donate and get a tax write-off when I could donate myself to a cause of my choosing.

John's cables are terminated with pins on one end and spades on the other. The Adcom switcher has these pinch connectors, that won't take spades or pins as large as the ones on John's cables.

Aren't these the "Little" versions they're doing pay what you want with? Every one of those was free when they came out with it. They always do a code sharing promo.

Fair enough, but there is a larger context than private sector profit to Soundtoys current activity. However, I do sympathize as I own many slate plugs and relab so I know exactly how one feels when a company you have supported in effect undermine's the value of your investment to some extent. With Soundtoys I saw a facebook post just the other day stating how long the money collected so far could, for example, keep patrol and safety boats at sea to save refugees at risk. That sounds a lot more significant to me than me complaining about the price of slate's subscription service. Anyway my comment was more about the tone of your comment than its substance ( which I support) and not a personal attack, so let me apologize, if you were offended, certainly not my intent.

They did a free version via code sharing before the full versions were released. Once the full versions were released, they started charging $79 for them. I'm just sore because I purchased the full bundle last year (with a promised Dec. release) then waited until the following October to get my plugs. Now, this Black Friday, they go on sale cheaper than last year. After getting my full bundle, I now have a spare Microshift and Primal Tap license (which I couldn't trade in towards the full bundle). So yeah, I'm just upset that they Slated me.

I was just being a jerk. I know they're doing good things, just not happy with the company. Also, it's basically impossible to offend me. No worries. Cheers man!

Just for context from PT xpert site:re: soundtoys contributions:
"Share the warmth of giving As part of our Give a Little, Get a Little holiday campaign, 100% of your purchase price will be donated to Migrant Offshore Aid Station(MOAS), a search and rescue charity that saves lives at sea in the world’s most dangerous border crossings. So far, they’ve rescued nearly 12,000 men, women and children fleeing violence and oppression. Our collective donation will go toward MOAS’ search and rescue operations.
Here’s some examples of how your gift will help:
$22 provides one life jacket $55 supplies one emergency pack (life jacket, blanket, clothes, food, water) $165 sponsors one specialist crew member at sea for a day $550 feeds one full boat of beneficiaries a hot meal on a MOAS vessel $8,265 covers all expenses for a day at sea for one MOAS vessel We chose MOAS because it’s a humble, yet ambitious organization that is focused, direct and doesn’t discriminate. We believe our donation will truly make an impact. Most importantly, we share MOAS’ core belief: No one deserves to die at sea.
We’ll feature a different “Little” plug-in each week, starting with Little MicroShift from December 10th – December 14th. Come back on the 15th to see which one is featured next and feel free share this opportunity with your friends!"
