Thats really cool.. love the ... "Marsha" That's actually an early Friedman amp, and my current favorite. Internet rumor has it that Marshall contacted him and made him stop using the name. As a result, the Friedman line of amps came to market.

Just out of curiosity.. Is it common or practical to mount diffusers on the front wall (behind the speakers)? I mean I've seen some people doing it but most of the time people focus on placing bass traps and absorber panels on first reflection points (myself included). I am quiet happy with the sound of my room at the moment but sometimes I wonder if my room sounds too dead.. I will included a photo of my room as a reference. Attachment Deleted

It's most common to do live end/dead end in control/cut rooms, the dead end up front behind monitors.

I tried to make mine a duel purpose space. It doubles for a nice spot for family movie night. There's a rack of gear out of the picture to the right and the door in the picture opens into the tracking room. Thats really quite beautiful cowboy.. argosy? How does it go having a big screen TV, resolution wise on the mac? cheers Wiz Thanks Wiz. Yeah Argosy. The tv works great. Come out of the HD video port of the Mac mini so it's 1080 just like a regular monitor. Lots of real estate and easier on my failing eyes without the need for reading glasses

KJ, I don't know how much you use them, but Looking at your wooden speaker setup, they are pointing straight back parallel to the walls. That means you are listening to them off their axis. They also should be pointing in toward the listening position in an equilateral triangle.

I'm a little late to this thread, so I've missed making comments along the way. It's so much fun to see the work stations and studios of so many of the members here whose posts I've enjoyed so much. Instead of "more cowbell", I think "more monitor" would be appropriate here! I absolutely love to see so many of you with wonderful gear and such inspiring environments.
I probably have the most humble set up here, so I try to make up for it in time spent on details. I just got new monitors, so I didn't have a chance to get them on stands yet.
I hope to get some wall treatment next week.

Here's a quick pic of my space. All in one room but there's quite a bit of space, about 13' X 48' with a 15' x 13' offset at the far end. I use about a third of it with 4ea 6' x 2' x 4" free standing gobo panels that I use to divide the space. Works well and I can tighten up or extend the room if needed.
