I'm slowly getting some energy back. More tests this week. We're also talking about a new drug with good data and less side effects. This week should point us in the right direction. Thanks |

Hey Ben how are you doing? I was wondering how things are getting along... cheers Wiz I'm ok. Been back and forth to the docs in RI and Boston. Trying to get a new drug that's technically not available to the masses yet, but is showing very good data. In the meantime, fighting the side effects from the other treatments. The worst part so far is that there are several lesions in different bones. Very painful. Especially in my right arm, which makes movement very difficult. They gave me a bunch of blood today and that seemed to help with the fatigue and anemia. We'll see. Back to Boston next week for a body scan and update on the game plan. |

Got some good news yesterday. I start this new treatment Monday morning. It all happened by chance, so it seems all your posi vibes are working! Now let's hope the meds work really well and get me well enough to get back to some kind of normal early on, so I can get back to work and start living again. |

Hey guys, Ive actually felt better today than I have in several weeks or more. Now, I can't say why, but it's a step in the right direction. I also saw in the news feed this AM, that the same treatment I'm being given is being put on the fastrack for FDA approval for lung cancer. Not yet for RCC, but I think it's coming. Which means the drug is showing that it works better than what's already out there, in the most amount of people. Re-assuring news. kcatthedog The reaction hasn't been so bad. It's just the first dose, though. Last night, my fiance and I populated some breadboards for a pair of C12 power supplies. She insisted on learning how to solder, and actually did very well. I'm setting out to build a pair of P2P on Acrylic, AKG C-12 circuit microphones with only the highest quality and most authentic components available, off-the-shelf. I'll post some pics in one of the threads when there is more to see. |
