Half way through the first week. Had some bad side effects the first two rounds. Not too bad now, just feel like I've been sleeping the past two days. I can deal with that. Thanks for all the love, guys, I don't usually put my heart out on my sleeve like this, but I feel like there's a brotherhood here that makes it comfortable to do so. Treatments are done Friday, then they keep me until Sunday for "Observation". In two weeks, we do it all again. ugh.

Thanks, tonycamphd, for keeping us up-to-date. Dear ben, (whenever you have time or strength to read this...) sorry to read you feel that bad right now. And i understand you will have a hard time with the next interval of treatment coming so soon. Unfortunately, from all i understand about chemo-therapy, it's first and maybe even only priority is to kill the cancer without killing you in a whole. It sounds so hard because it is so hard. I hope you get the best treatment available and keep good faith nevertheless. I keep my fingers crossed for you and hope you get thru this and come back when you recovered from the treatment block and feel better and stronger. All the best wishes from my side and never give up, Martin

Thanks so much guys. Energy level has been really low. For those of you inquisitive enough, the treatment they are giving me is call Interleuken 2. It basically knocks you on your ass in an attempt to supercharge your immune system into fighting the cancer. Interesting stuff. Anyway, just back from the docs for testing and I'm wiped. I'll be sure to check in as I feel better

Hey Ben, it can't be easy but my Mom survived cancer treatment, then in her sixties fell back in love with her high school sweetheart, who she literally had't seen since he marched off to ww2 and and lived to a ripe old scandalous age and I haven't even mentioned the gin nor cigars have I ! thinking of you !

Hey Ben, I've got considerable second-hand experience with cancer. My wife went through a very bad breast cancer some years back. Surgery, chemo, radiation--the works. I know how much it can take out of you. Like her, you'll sometimes wonder if it's worth the bother. it is (and she'd be the first person to tell you that today). I hope your experience with medical people is like ours. We met some of the nicest people that walk the planet: doctors, nurses, therapists, receptionists, patients.
Years in Utah haven't lessened my status as a Red Sox fan. I'd assume you've got a bit of it if you're in a Boston hospital. You--and anybody reading this--should know that Major League Baseball is just one of the many supporters of "Stand Up to Cancer". That's one of the more effective and efficient sources of funding for research. I sponsored them last year on my website and I'm sure I'll do it again later this spring. When the time comes, I hope everyone that's able will send a few dollars to them or to one of the other many worthy funds. You'll be helping yourselves or the people you love. It's donors from past years that saved my wife's life.
Best of luck with your ongoing treatment Ben. It's gonna suck, but we're all rooting for you! Michael

You guys are all great, and I'm digging the support and comments from everyone. Second week of treatment was postponed because I was slow to recover from the first week. A lot is up in the air for the next two weeks but we have a game plan at least. Very tired and very hard to use my right arm due to a painful lesion on the bone. Still, I mustered enough energy today to finish my DIY U87i and send it off to @sinsay to finish the vintage capsule reskin and magic formula.
