Nicely. I was able to listen all day long to a radio channel, and never tired of the sound for even a minute. I do need to really crank t up a bit though, but haven't had the opportunity. I did one XLO Stereophile breakin disc frequency sweep for maybe 4 hours, but want to do it again at a higher volume for 8 hours or more. That oughtta do it.

SYSTEM FREQUENCY RESPONSE: 35Hz-38,000Hz (Accessible musical range) Is there any info on what this really means? 2db down? 6? 12? If it means 2db, that is an impressive spec. Best of luck Martin with your new monitors! In engineering, this is usually -3dB points.

Yes, agreed. A typo on my part, corrected. Although I have seen unusual specs before, including incremental points different than the usual 3/6/12.

Took a look there Tony, but my membership in the Pensadian Group is "pending", so I'll have to look later. "The best monitors ever"? Yikes.
Update; I'm lovin' the Abbey's. My opinion is remaining consistent, and I keep noticing things I couldn't hear before. It's wonderful to have a monitor that's actually enjoyable to listen to all day, that works beautifully at low volume, and shows every detail I need to hear so well that figuring out where the trouble is comes easy, unless it sucked in the first place, which is all too common on my tracks unfortunately. Even then, at least I know what's up. Oh, and there's more headroom in them than Abe Lincoln's top hat.
