Holy shit. Really? They deleted the entire thread? Damn, Jeff...I'm sorry I dragged you into this. Maybe someone that still has membership in that shit hole should go over and ask where the thread is... U were already gone when I got banned going at t Belmont for bagging on CAPI stuff that he never tried! They had it in for CAPI before that point for some bs reason. Hopefully the guys that are still there that become aware of this call them out. Jeff stays above the fray, they are/have been raw dealing him... Pricks! |

It appears that the FC526 thread wasn't deleted specifically, but all of junior's (the thread OP) posts and threads were deleted. If you follow the google cache history, one of the last things he posted was questioning a moderator on why another post was deleted.
Pretty heavy handed, unless junior got fed up and decided to delete all of his own posts, not sure how that works.

If I had to guess, I would think it got tossed because it was in the New Products forum, which I think is only reserved for "official" announcements. Seems like it should have just been moved, but since they're anti-CAPI, they must have deleted it. Maybe junior knows? |

Yep. Just saw that. Looks like Jules put it back up. Those moderators over there are the WORST. If Jules values Gearslutz, he might want to look into some house cleaning. The mods have ruined that place with childish antics like this.

So, I've been in town for less than one day and the FC526 comps are already being used on a record. I met up with Dave Cobb who was just getting set up to track Lake Street Dive's new record at Sound Emporium A. He insisted on using them without even trying them first. The man has some faith in me!!

They'd call me a Capi "fanboy" at gs, Yup! If a piece works beyond my hopes, i'm a FANBOY! 8) I haven't heard the 526 yet, a bunch of you lucky dogs are about to, and i'm wholly jealous! I can't wait to read your impressions! But just judging from what I've heard from Jeff's stable of gear already, I'd go "all in" that this is seriously going to change the compressor game, as good as it gets quality of sound, in 500 series space saving API format, that looks as cool as any piece i've ever seen, and for about the price of certain GS moderators unlistenable gear! It is an absurd opportunity for us! The 2:1 ratio is worth the price of admission alone! I have got to get a pair before J gets slammed with backorders!

I don't think Jules cares about GS anymore he's moved on to bigger and better things. But the guy isn't smart enough to realize his sites all sound like porn and GS can't get by some nanny software. GS just got to big For its self, the mods think they are god and all the kids with a Sterling Audio mic and a bunch of Plugins scared all the guys who could teach them something away! I miss the days when you could PM somebody like Greg Wells or Micheal Wagner and have a real conversation. It's sad because I made some good friendships on GS, but pretty much everybody I know has left. Oh where do I paypal for the drawing, and I vote we do it So 1/2 pays for the comp 1/2 goes to help John pay for the site! Yeah, great idea Eric! I'm in - sign me up. |
