RGO'ers at NAMM, I'll post here from my phone on Thursday when I find out more about the Peavey party and show at the Hilton ballroom. The entertainment begins around 7:15 and will last an hour or a bit more all in. I still don't know how the admittance will go, but NAMM attendees will be admitted as space permits and I'll do my best to get anyone saying they're with RGO into the space.

On behalf of Buck Dharma: The show is at the Hilton besides NAMM (Anaheim Convention Center). In the 'California Room'.
All us guests going need to meet up at the door by 6:30pm. Don and the crew start 7:15pm sharp. 1hr15 minute set. Then Skynyrd.
I'll help him coordinate as much as possible.
Kind regards. Ward. P.S. Wear your NAMM badges. We do need our stinking badges!

Just got back. Waited an hour to get in for standing room only in the back of the room. Then stood there for an hour an a half watching the Peavey people an a sit down diner while I was starving and listening to how the world wouldn't be the same without Peavey equipment. Then they let the Press in in front of us so I couldn't see and I was at the front of the ropes. B.Y.O. came on at 7:30 for a 5 song set. When did the Kick drum become the loudest lead instrument? Left for Leonard Skynard, I could stand any longer. THERE WASN'T A LIST and Lori Garrobo couldn't get in. She had to pay for parking, walk a mile, and wait in line for an hour. Now I have a mad friend. Her husband's mad too and he's the one that got me the Namm pass. The whole Namm show was a zoo. Too many people could get near anything to try out and if you did, you couldn't hear anything with the open back headphones. Three days to go, I think I'll stay home.

I wondered if it might be a cluster. I'm sure Don's hands were tied and those kinds of things usually run like a led balloon. How many times a year do the Peavey folks get to tell people there "aren't enough to go around" ? I keed I keed.

Robert, sorry you had issues with admittance. Peavey assured me everyone would get in, no lists necessary. We did this gig as a favor to them for their 50th anniversary party, they helped us out after Hurricane Sandy flooded our equipment storage in Hoboken and ruined a bunch of amps and cabinets.
Yeah, the sound and mixing was all their people, not ours. Don't know why some guys think the kick drum and the subs are the most important thing in a live mix. Just because they can pump a lot of bass, doesn't mean they should.
Myself, Eric Bloom and Richie Castellano are in the current BOC band. Bobby Rondinelli and Rudy Sarzo both were in BOC for several years, but at different times. Despite the sound (monitors were rough too) and the short set, I still had fun playing with those guys. And Kenny Aronoff on cowbell.

I'm very sorry to hear about the trouble, Winetree. I was at the main door in the back and had our 'list' open on my phone with the names specified and had spoken to one of the security guys about it already. I had my badge on with the letters W A R D in that order in clear view on it... and not one realgearhead met me there.
I met up with Don yesterday at NAMM and he told me about your issue. I can only apologize for not being more accessible.
