Banned from Gearslutz

What's worse is Tony went back and completely removed the guys two posts so there is no history of anyone speaking up about Belmont's ridiculous behavior. Maybe Tony bought the forum from Jules I don't know. Super amateur. Jules is worried about the abuse of police power on his Facebook page yet he allows this kind of abuse on his forum. Bad.

I got banned in the midst of laughing TB out on what a !@#% he was being for incessantly bashing on the Capi VP28, a pre he happily and vapidly admitted he had never used? 8/ seriously??(i guess it cut against the GS business model?) He's such a ballzy !@%* he even came over here and trolled for a couple days before he happily vanished like the fart in the wind that he surely is.

Gearslutz taught me some valuable lessons though, the biggest one was when you find something of value, respect it(which for various reasons, i did not, and shame on me for a lot of it), and step up to protect it, if you get banned for that, it wasn't worth protecting(in this regard, i got lucky, lesson learned).

I find Realgear better in every way, the members are tops!, proven by virtue of the fact that you learn something, feel good and won't have to shower after you visit 8)

This is why Gearslutz has such a bad reputation. This Moderator is telling people the new "unknown" mic he sells out of his apartment in Rhode Island is as good as a Sony C800G. WTF? Doesn't Jules have any policy he requests you follow Tony? Its one thing pushing the Aurora over original Neves and every other high end pre, but now some unknown mic called "Imperial" is as good as a Sony C800G. Spare me. You get what you pay for.

That's not why I got banned Tony. I got banned BY YOU for calling you out as someone who abuses GS. You insult people, are less than truthful, bash other manufacturers gear and erase people's profiles who disagree with you. I'm not the only one who has had this experience with you OBVIOUSLY. I don't harbor that kind of animosity. I think Tony would have no problem with me or a lot of others if he had just exchanged some verbal jabs with me and let it be. The thing that got my goat was the censorship, that's all really. It felt really "big brother" and kind of sinister, un-American and as Tony said it got a mellow old man like myself all worked up. I think you can show bias towards brands you sell as long as you have the balls or integrity to say "yeah guys, I am a fan of this stuff so take my comments with a grain of salt...etc". But just censoring people who rub you the wrong way is a bad move, and breeds a lot of unnecessary bad will between people who all love gear and music etc. Such a waste.

Yes that was me. Obviously it must occur to you that you've been needlessly creating enemies out of "normal Joes" who aren't even competitors of yours. I pretty much keep to myself. And your approach to promoting gear while I found it questionable, didn't bother me enough to "not like you". But censoring me, and misrepresenting my statements, stupid little things like that created a lot of unnecessary ill-will instead of increased sales. And clearly had me looking to "take a shot at you" (like a lot of people here) which I'm not proud of. I feel like I've come down to your level and that's indefensible. 

...not taking any sides here, but I recently exchanged posts with "JustJake" on the GS thread "Best U47 Clone" and then saw the same post by yotonic here on the MK-47 thread...I did a bit of research and saw yotonic had been banned on GS, so I put 2&2 together...nothing particularly unusual in the forum realm, IMHO...
