McDSP APB $500 off for the 8 channel version and $1000 for the 16 channel version. I've always been curious about these.

I grabbed that last night after seeing you post. I've got a shoegaze song in the works with one band, so I think this could be fun. McDSP APB $500 off for the 8 channel version and $1000 for the 16 channel version. I've always been curious about these. I've no doubt it sounds good. I like McDSP, but those are still pretty pricy.

Relab has a new bundle with all three of their Essentials plugs for $49, down to $36 with a coupon.
On one hand I don't need any more reverbs but I am better stocked up on the Convo side then I am the Algo side these days.

Are the too much of a tease or do they still get to the meat of the effect, just without SO much control? If I'm using an Echoboy for example, I'll usually just pull up the Jr version. Gets me somewhere very quickly which is great.

You get the core algorithms and can still tweak a few parameters (decay, plus size and ER depending on the plug) but the more in-depth settings are locked into 4 presets for the 480 and QuantX and 6 presets for the REV6000.

I got an email today with Pulsar's deals. They even have some bundles that include some of the ReLab, Safari Pedals, and Puremix things included. The 495 EQ is only 29 euros. I use that one a lot.
Sale ends Dec 5.

Pro Tools license renewels are 30% off at Sweetwater (and probably elsewhere) right now. Be verrry careful you’re not surrendering your perpetual license to go to a subscription. I believe the subscription is $299/year and the perpetual is $199 regularly. ($599 initially). I actually did that and kept wondering why I was being charged $100 more per year…found out I’d voluntarily given up my perpetual…so I had to just buy a new perpetual at $599 instead of putting $300 per year towards the sub.

Good advice John. I usually have a long "heart to heart" discussion with my sweetwater rep before I go one way or the other. Each time I buy a new license, perpetual or otherwise for PT, it seems the licensing "rules" have changed...and I've only had PT for a couple years. I think in 2 years, I've "redone" licensing like 3 times now....

Does Sound Radix ever go on sale? AutoAlign is the only plugin I've been waiting to buy I don't know but I use that all the time. If it doesn't, buy it anyway. Takes so much stress out of multi-miking things like pianos and guitars. A lot of times it doesn't need much correction but I work way faster knowing that if I screw something up on my mic setup AutoAlign really can fix it as long as I got in the ballpark.
