I recently got some Crimson Audio White handles for SM57's and was really happy with them on snare drum top and bottom. I have a couple TAB/Funkenwerk SM57, as well as the Yellow and Orange handles, and for snare the White is my favorite. Seems to be "faster" sounding and a bit more high end detail. A great $58 purchase if you have a SM57 sitting around doing nothing. Beat me to it. Cheap, easy to install, and a great way to expand the mic cabinet with old 57s or 58s that you're not using.

Not cheap by the standards of power supplies but cheap enough to not be noticed on a credit card statement! After visiting their website, I didn't see any items priced at $10 or below. How do you get them so cheap?

Getting a bit less ubiquitous but... Just scored a very nice (Supposed condition) AKG D770. For around $58! One of the la$t Live/Live Studio recording Sleepers left under $100 used. Chris P.S. Starting to see (presently) outrageous asking prices on AKG D770 and D790. A Litmus? LOL!

Try some of the older AKG dynamics, other than D12, plus variants D19’s & the two ways they have a bit more character & stay under $125.

Would LOVE a D24 someday. That was a very good year!

Would LOVE a D24 someday. That was a very good year! Not a lot of talk about the AKG D125, but they're cool and characterful.

I am going to feed my current GAS pains by getting a fret dress and setup on my Les Paul. It's a 2013 model and I have played the Hell out of it. The frets are getting worn and developing some buzzes that are annoying me. It's time for a tune-up. I hope that will relieve some GAS pressure for a while.
I ordered a reference mic from Reverb yesterday because my old one bit the dust and I want to have another look at my room treatments to see where more improvements can be made.

Not ubiquitous but a heck of a lot more of them around than I expected.

I just picked up a Little Labes Redeye. It’s a great DI and remap box all in one. Great purchase. I have and dig this box as well but am I the only one who can never remember which button labels are for which positions?
