Also considering a 1178. Curious what came of your ideas John? I too would love an AS 1178. I imagine it would be great for tracking too. If only I have some spare rack space! The Pulse plugin will have to do for now. |

I ended up with the as 1178 on drums, then I’m mixing through the Behringer 369 and a pair of Capi Heiders. Sounds fantastic. Sta-level on bass or vocals.

I’ve used it on vocals too and it’s great. 1178 is kinda versatile in that it sounds clean to me unless you don’t want it to be - and can get super dirty. |
