In no way am I knocking Trinnov, but damn the Mini DSP USB mic for Dirac is cheap, SM57 cheap, with Custom Calibration file Beta57 cheap. I do think the Trinnov is better at Phase issues, though maybe better than my MBHO with custom calibration file. I can see where this ST-2 IS getting a little long in the tooth. I've thought about selling and getting the Nova...but I would think selling the Trinnov would be a task at the moment. Trinnov is supporting it through, what? 2030 or something? |

As long as they support it run with it, and even then unless they somehow come up with a substantial new technology, it’s self contained and will continue to work. But then I have a self contained RADAR running on an OS that is 23 years old, still works! |

Yeah - they're really good with support. Been emailing back and forth...think we have it down to it being the mic or the cable.
