Looks interesting,
I’d suggest you reach out to Wiz here who is in OZ or Seawall (Josh), he does great review/demo videos and that would help establish your brand.
I don’t know anything about your company and would hesitate dropping $2,000 plus on a Mike I don’t know at all.
Good luck !

Good luck with your mics! Bringing something like that to the market takes a lot of effort.

It's unfortunate that you've never heard of me.
I've been building modding and repairing mics for well over decade see my Instagram which shows a bit of a visual history of my work. just so know that I didn't just pop up overnight. Cheers! Mark

I’d love to hear it. I agree with kcatthedog, send one to seawell or myself and let us test it and make a video. I’ve been looking for good 67 clone to have around.

opr /Mark I wasn’t suggesting anything negative or questionable about the quality of your work, just that I didn’t know the business name. Takes a lot of knowledge and judgement to recreate a classic Mike and I acknowledge and respect that. My suggestion would just be a means to have a respected 2nd party do a thorough and objective assessment of the Mike, which, I believe, would be to your benefit!

Thanks for your suggestions Kcatthedog I appreciate it and I completely understand what you were saying, A lot people ask me to send mics for their assessment but I'd prefer to send the mic to a person who has the intention of buying it.
Having said that I'll be getting some sound samples happening soon.
Also I have a 7 day no questions asked return policy so if anyone were to buy and not be happy they can return it for a refund. minus Paypal fee(if used) and shipping costs.(No restocking fees or or other fine print hidden costs) or I can tailor the sound for them the 67 has a feedback EQ network that allows for the top end to be adjusted allowing for more or less HF roll off. The standard tuning is the baseline.
Anyhow It's much better to try in your own setup and on your own voice as that way you'll know immediately weather the mic is for you. In the development phase I've measured and tested this mic up against Vintage OG's and definitely It holds it's own I certainly wouldn't put it out if it didn't cut the mustard.

As, you like, hearing a demo from just another internet talking head, who may or may not use an objective creating scenario, doesn’t do much for me. Josh always demonstrates the product in a thorough, unbiased way, explains his methodology and approach, comments , but helps the viewer to make up their own mind.
Anyway, good luck with the launch, I hope this Mike does well for you !

I mean, I've got a vintage Neumann 67 plus a re-issue and your's is a fraction of their price 1K GBP instead of £6K so if they are that good I'd be interested (in the profit I'd make at least). We need clips though and Matt's suggestion isn't too out there for RGO at least as it does sound like your mic is a bit too good to be true. Maybe you could extend that 7 day return and I'll take a punt? All internet orders here are by law given a 14 day reprieve, I'm not sure if that applies to international imports though. Probably not.. I'm not one to return items if it lives up to the hype, unfortunately over the past decades it's rarely happened.
Of course, major respect and I honestly hand on heart wish you can do a 67 replica for £1K. It's not like any sane person would like to spend ridiculous amounts for no benefit at all.

That's fine Shadowk I can do 14 days no problem. In the end I want customers to be happy having dissatisfied customers is no good to anyone.

Valid, but, I’m retired now, not going to spend a lot to try any product, but that’s just me. For context, having a real drag here locally, as no stores either have the monitors I want to demo or won’t let you demo them in store and will charge you for shipping and a restocking fee to try in your home. Doesn’t work for me.

Hey Mark. Another happy OPR customer with 2 of his mics I bought last year. Mark has been making his capsules for years and I have had him do a mic of mine like 10 x years ago and its still going strong. Marks capsules are pretty decent that one of the boutique mic makers in USA actually use a variety of his capsules as an option to other well named brands. When I found that out I personally emailed them and they then confirmed this and they gave me some honest feedback on the capsules. I was pretty impressed.

seven Days is better than nothing, but is not enough for many studios. 30 days would be much better.

Ooops!I Just checked my mics and and S2 was indeed open on one of the mics in error... lol! That's why one is a bit bigger in the lows and a hair darker sounding. I'll have to make some more samples at some point. but flat out building at the moment. hopefully these samples will still give you some idea of the sound.
Hey All. Here's a couple of quick and dirty samples comparing the O.P.R Plan 6 ULTRA to an O.G 1960's 67
Files are labeled 1-2 I won't reveal which is which just yet, if ever. LOL! The samples were recorded dry with a basic interface preamp so there's no additional color
There's also a micro song recorded with both mics labeled 1-2 indicating the mic used on the track. No EQ was used only a bit of reverb, delay, and compression please excuse the singers wobbly voice! no auto-tune used lol! and the raw nature of this recording.
I'll get some better samples going down the track but for now this should give you a good indication of the sound in reference to the OG.
Cheers! Mark

It sounds nice. 1 seems to have a bit more detail, but that is probably, because 2 seems to have a little more low mid info. On cheaper speakers 1 sounded very bright, but on my monitors its just more clarity I'm hearing. Guessing, I could kind of guess either way. I've heard clones that skewed a bit brighter than the mark and clones like that skewed a bit darker. Right now I think 2 is the U67. Looking forward to the reveal.
