If you like Aurora N, think you will find it more euphonic than modded apollo.

After getting the full Monty Black Lion Audio mod to my X6, I discovered the converters were not really the issue with the Apollo's, it was a host of other things. Now my Apollo sounds more like Dangerous Music's converters. The Symphony is a little softer and bigger, more pleasing than the regular Apollo's. So it depends what you're really looking for. I mixed a friend's album with the post BLA mod x6, and I was able to get where I wanted to go in 1/2 to 2/3 the amount of time. Any comparison clips? I love Apollo workflow but the conversion was not accurate enough for me. Aurora (n) was the closest via tests I’d did. Curious how the mod does. I did have a revive mod w an Apollo x for a while but it was not as good as BLA I’ve heard. Thanks! Not sure I put any clips…but here’s what I said about mine. If you only need two channels and lots of connectivity, a Hilo MkI would probably run you about the same as the mod. I do think my Hilo is a little better on both adda. But that’s nothing scientific…and if you can’t be happy with either of those…
