what focusrite and what button?! interesting....apparently Focusrite had modeled our Chandler Limited EMI Abbey Road Studios TG Channel for their Liquid Mix as part of its preset library. i had the liquid mix! … but can‘t remember using the tg channel. some of the eq‘s and comps were very good. the REALLY had character. acustica audio plugins remind me of it. |

MJB it must have been a Scarlett 3rd Gen then. Introduced 4 years ago.

Was just watching the If These Walls Could Sing documentary and Paul is describing the engineer having to put down some cloth to counter his foot stomping..
So any attempt at getting the dry vocal sound might benefit from ye old foot cloth.

That's a good point. Someone on a chair is closer to the reflective floor than a standing singer. |
