The $49 code worked ok here. Checkout did have a note indicating it was for select persons on their email list. I don't own any UAD stuff so maybe it's directed at pulling newer people in? I picked up the LA-2A. Might go back and grab the 1176 also but I don't really need it, of course I didn't need the 2A either... I suppose I’m just not a “select” person, then. Pretty dang funny. |

They have no love for this former UAD-1 and UAD-2 user, at least for the code working or emails with discounts.

Just a thought. I haven't found UAD's 1176's to be THAT much different than some others. Even the Logic 1176 sounds like an 1176. I would recommend taking a closer look at the 176. It has a sound, but that sound when it works is unique. I like plugs that have their own sound. The ATR-102, EMT-140, come to mind.

My email has zero purchases, though, and it’s not working for me. I feel like there’s some kind of X-Factor at play. Ha, ok, so now the e-mail with the Spark subscription just got a complimentary LUNA license plus a year of the Neve, API, Ampex & Studer extensions included. They certainly are full of surprises lately, I've never owned any of their stuff. You got a complimentary LUNA sub ?! Maybe they have a change in the works because you currently need to own a UAD device to have access to the LUNA daw. I am actually thinking about purchasing some of the native UAD plugs maybe they will open luna to people who purchase the plugins or subs. You don't own any UAD interfaces or software ? |

The more I think about it I will probably sign up for the $150 it breaks down to $12.50/month not bad maybe within the combining year Luna will be available for spark subscription customers Well I guess you are very lucky just checked the UAD site and nothing remotely close to your deal.    |

You do need a UAD interface to authorize Luna. It looks for a uad interface for authorization when installing. Once authorized it will apparently run on core audio now without an interface. Pretty cool.
As a satellite owner ive spent alot on their software. Sure would be nice to get to use Luna without being required to buy an interface now that it can run on core audio.

I got the $10/month offer after I cancelled the Spark sub, following the 99 cents for 3 months offer. Was looking at buying the mix bundle, but they kept adding native plugs to the sub without adding them to the bundle, so staying on the sub was more attractive. Randomly last week I got the e-mail about the free LUNA iLok asset added to my account, and a year long license for all the extensions. Spent a good part of this morning mixing an R&B track with API console emulation and summing, with Oxide on the tracks plus Ampex and the API 2500 on the master, seems pretty efficient.

So I was actually LUCKY I missed out on the $200 voucher sale as I actually only wanted two plugins not the 3 for $399-$200 = $199.
I wanted the
AMS DMX15 $299 now $99
Waterfall $199 now $59
Plus a voucher in my account for $25 so a total of $133.
Like those two plugins are worth or were ever going to sell for $500!
It's just silly, am I meant to go "oh WOW what a BARGAIN" I can get $500 worth of plugins for $133 .... go go go do it now!
They're only worth around $50 each in todays highly competitive plugin market, so the net effect of this, is software developers only sell plugins
when they have a "sale"!!
Why not just price them realistically all year round and stop treating us like we're Homer Simpson.
Rant over.

I love that they priced those "Collections" (LA2A, 1176, Fairchild, Pultec) at $90 and then restricted the $25 coupon to purchases of $100 or more.
This is entirely for those of us who are "non-select" customers, of course.

Hey sorry for the late reply , I was more so thinking out loud that I might be able to reuse the $25 coupon but as it turns out waiting may have paid off. I just received email for UAD spark subscription $0.99 for three month will try it out and fingers crossed might be as lucky as subspace . I was basically putting different plugins in the cart and removing them as I was trying to figure most cost effective way too get into the UAD ecosystem , clearly the algorithm is at work here |
