The standard Fairchild Sowters are not as loud as Fairchild spec. Looks like this version has gone a long way towards fixing that and more. This looks beastly. Geez it's nice having you here. I get to enjoy your sharing your experiences and findings. You're quite a warm personality here and I appreciate you. Back to the Stamchild and the Pom Pom! I'll go even further off topic and agree, any pain Paul has caused our wallets has been more than soothed by his excellent drum samples and living vicariously through his gear acquisitions! Back on topic, this thread has me fairly interested again so I tracked vocals with Anamod 660's instead of 1176's today. I forgot how awesome the action is, time to go digging for vocal samples with Stam and/or Pom. |

It’s much easier to be in an encouraging, supportive atmosphere than on a forum where fly by night trolls attack you by the thousands when everything you say is hopelessly speaking from experience to gain a deeper understanding. It’s like cage fighting or something there where people try to tear a strip off or push you to lose your temper to build their rep. While the cowards lurk only raising their heads to like other negative posts and jeer from the audience. It infuriates me but I now get a rise by not engaging and sticking to my guns. A bit like doing thousands of phone interviews for the promo. I don’t suffer fools lightly and that place is 99 % full of them. I’m sorry if anyone has gotten the wrong impression or been on the receiving end because lashing out became a habit for me. What can I say it’s great to be here and I’ve learned more in a short time here than I have in years at that vacuous baggage carousel. I have made some good friends there but I could probably count them on one hand and they are slipping away for the same reasons. It’s nice to make some new ones. Thanks all! Long may it last….. |

Josh, are you really rereleasing the mki Stamchild 670 ? Yes I am I get many emails and requests to build more so why not. Price will be 2990 USD I am just debating if keeping it a 4U unit with stereo controls or making it a 5U unit dual mono or adding some extra controls |
