No, me too, only a very simplistic video sort of matching a guitar groove.
I emailed them asking if they will extend sale price as it makes no sense to buy something whose features you can’t demo, haven’t heard back yet.

As my post said, I get TT wanting to promote sales, but not having any good demo videos of the new features , doesn’t inspire much confidence. I hope I’m wrong and that bandmate does add more value, but I won’t buy in advance.

I bet the changes won't really 'feel' all that significant to long-time users, thus they are not giving us video demos to ruin the mystery of something exciting and new.
To me the price of upgrade admission will really be with the band jam along feature, AND with the ability to drop audio into their search browser...not just drop a MIDI sample. I would LOVE to have this feature for that synth band project I'm working on right now.
I'm actually in the dilemma of do I keep wading through MIDI libraries hoping to find something that fits with the mediocre loops they offered up, or do I just wait for EZD3 and see if it can offer up enhanced grooves that fit, only faster.

I don't think they will feel big for SD3 users but it will be big for EZD2 users. Right there with you. Band mate 'could' be a game changer for toontrack.

The thing that stood out to me was the stuff about being able to adjust/add ghost notes…that kind of stuff. I’m not a drummer, so all that stuff isn’t natural to me. I’ve gotten to where I can program something pretty convincingly, but it just takes entirely too long. Like because I’m playing with pads, velocity - keeping it natural is kindve a pain. I’m a sucker for anything that might make things faster, easier and more convenient. That’s definitely worth $79.

OK, the Bandmate feature is literally the coolest fucking thing. Haven't been this stoked on an EZ Drummer release in years. Insta-buy for sure.

The AI transient analysis is more sophisticated than logic drummer, so it seems like you can get your drum pattern to better follow the dynamics of the part that is being analyzed.
Certainly worth a demo, we’ll see what happens to launch price.

Purchased. The new libraries seem are worth the upgrade price alone. Band mate seems like a great tool. Not a direct replacement for something like logic drummer, but more of a tool for the final product.

Just playing around with it. Man, the edit play style with the ghost notes thing is going to save a lot of time.

The thing I love about logics drummer….it does fills and it’s relatively easy to get a few variations quickly on a fill….does ezd3 do the fills automatically?

It has fills in each song - or you can tap in what you’re looking for. It it doesn’t automatically put it in. Well, some of the midi has natural fills

Downloaded...doesn't seem to be working properly. The only time it will make a sound is if I cycle through the drums...but if I click on the drums or try to play a beat no sound

Anyone using bandmate and who can compare to logic drummer?
Find it pretty tacky that can’t trial this.
