Anybody experiencing weird paypal problems trying to contribute ? Well, no not for me but I think Paypal may be having some issues regarding their policy and reversal on seizing user's money...or so some body said. Everything should be good now! |

Thanks for sharing this. EDIT: the confirmation email comes from audioscaperaffle. I don't want to enter myself into a raffle, I just wanna help. I'm hoping that address just happens to be what Chris and co. used to set up the receiving account...Ward or Chad (or whoever), can any of you clarify this? Good question, bgrotto! I copy pasted the link directly from the email which I received from audio scape. I don’t think it should have any personal information of mine in there as I believe it is a generic link sent to all people in their mailing list. |

This money is going directly to people and families directly affected who have been devastated! I made a small contribution to test and it went through no issues, so I can confirm everything is in order.

I made a large contribution to World Central Kitchen because after Ike I remember doing clean up and the absolutely terrible Salvation Army chicken, tasted like a James Beard Award Wining chefs meal. So I figure a really good meal would be Heaven. If I find some cash I will make a contribution. Guys this storm devistated FL, less than 30% have flood insurance, FL insurance market is a mess. In Hardee county where it pretty much was completely flooded. This is inland not the coast, of the 8000 homes 100 had flood insurance. Unlike 15 years ago when if you didn’t have flood insurance FEMA handed out Mastercards with over $25K right away, the average FEMA payment is around 9K and it takes weeks. Still quicker than Insurance payouts figure January. |
