I’d buy daking used in a heartbeat, but I haven’t seen the comps cheap ? I've seen the comps on Reverb in the $800 range fairly often. |

Guess we consider different values for cheap?  I’m interested in the daking 2 channel comp. From what I’ve read, I think it’s the earlier version with more control I’d be interested in. |

I do like my Daking pre. A lot. Clean but not without a bit of heft. If you want really coloured it probably won’t make you happy.

I mean the fastest release is half a second. The fastest. Should that work? I dunno but somehow it does. Cheers, Geoff |

The FET III was the first compressor I bought, years back. It did seem pretty clean with "some" color. The smack it provided was great but stayed smooth. Great piece.
