Mk2: First impressions: I like the knobs better - many with detents! I like that presence and air can both be added. (Mk1 - one has to choose between presence or air.) Overall eq has more possibilities. Super. SB 1 still great. SB 2 better. (a real shocker, I know! )

Thats one the main reasons I want an MK2, the knobs are smaller like the CHopshop so the detents will feel "deeper" and more clicky. SB MK1 the knobs move to easily I think at times. They can be bumped easily anyways out of position.
Then theres all the other great reasons to get one..

Yup. Grab a classic while you still can. Then upgrade to a mk2. Best of all worlds.... Blackdawg & ab101 -- the Gain and Output pots are now 21 detents instead of the mk1 41 detents. This yields a firmer, more solid, easier to recall mojo section IMO. Mojo C pots are 21 detent as well. All around win!! I don't miss the "in between" detents at all. The EQ pots remain 41 detent for fine tuning resolution. The freq select switches are VERY firm and solid feeling. All round more ergonomic IMO.

I can't see issues with only having 21 detents. And if they EQ ones are like the old Chop Shops then Im stoked!

I have been going back and forth between the SB 1 and SB 2. I like the detents much better on the SB 2. Also the "aspect ratio" adjustment is fantastic! (What is strange for me, is that the detents are so numerous on the SB 1, that I didn't even really notice them. On the SB 2, I notice them.) Having said all this, the SB 1 is still a super unit as well, it just does not do as much as the SB 2.

Hi all, We’ve been using the same series of potentiometers from the same manufacturer since the company started back in 2013. So the feel of the pots is the same between all our products regardless if they are used in the Silver Bullet or a Mister Focus. We did decide to make Gain and Output knobs have 21 detents as Bill mentioned just because we felt that the easier ability to recall settings outweighed any minor trade-off to granularity on those knobs. I can see how putting a big knob on a 41 detent pot may feel slightly different than putting a small knob on it…due to the torque being applied (there’s a greater radial distance). Anyway, I’m glad to hear that the combination of knob sizes and detents for mk2 adds up to an enhanced user experience. Cheers, Brad

And people mark-up used AudioScape gear too. Supply/Demand, I guess. Funny times we're in... The Devil you say!! Please forward those findings to me. See View Plate.

Well, the savvy reverb seller started jacking their asking price, oddly just when reverb started gouging , I mean, increasing its value proposition and fees

Crazy when your lending costs are like 80% on top of purchase price.

Indeed!! And I didn't mention the 5% Paypal fee... Another example, Weight Tank WT-72: from the website it costs near 1300€, from a EU retailer it's under 900€,
Anyway, I'm on the pre-order queue for the SB2 and very excited to hear that orders are ahead of schedule

I'm quite confused how purchasing direct from my website at $899 USD turns into 1300 Euros? Maybe there is some strange thing happening on the backend that I'm not aware of? It should be around 800 Euros, plus shipping. I can't imagine shipping is and additional 500 euros... I'd love to clear it up and make sure you get what you need! Where are you located, by the way? Thanks for an help you can give. Also, if you'd like to reach out directly, as I don't want to force external issues (outside of SB MK2) into this thread, that would be cool too. Thanks!! -Eric

My xtra costs experience shipping to Canada is:
Exchange: all parties charge hidden mark up above mkt rates 3rd party costs:,PayPal 3-4%, pls the hidden exchange rate, Shipping Insurance 3rd party shipping handling and admin fees(on too of the shipping charge) Brokerage fee Duties Taxes
It’s great when a US supplier has a sale, but say 5-10%, just is on the base price, for international buyers, we pay a large premium.
Canada is only about 20-30%, our European friends and those further afield pay much more due to shipping, insurance and their countrys’ VATs.
Sorry, that’s all she wrote .

I believe I pre-ordered Sept 28. (If I get the confirmation saying it's ready to ship - gonna offer my MK1 for sale - as I can only keep one... Meanwhile, my hearing aid died today - no kidding - I only use it when recording or listening to music. Helps keep things in stereo)

Hi all,
I’ll probably be sending out payment links for about 20 units as soon as we receive some transformers. So my best guess is those will ship sometime in January.
