I got the same vibe. Tough room. Especially when no one has heard it. well, BL has kinda taken a bad rap in the past. Anyway, when I was designing my converters, I would get 2-3 messages a week from folks on here about them. Most people were nice enough making suggestions and offering feedback but there were a few knucklheads that demanded that I design in their personal desires or else "they weren't going to buy it". It goes to show that no matter what you decide to do, someone will be pissed that you did it that way. then one of those knucklheads tried to commission me to design and build them custom converters. |

This happens to some extent to every manufacturer, you have to have thick skin and be able to sort through the BS. Of course the other fun part is nobody understands that each and every feature is going to add to the cost and can’t understand why someone else’s demand might be more important and relavant. The fun part is always when someone suggests a feature then expects a discount. In the time before the inter web we would say that one in 4 of the Ill buy one crowd actually would, now I think it’s more like 1 in 8! |
