I don't drink cheap when it comes to any liquor, thats treason to my body. Rule of thumb, 3:1 ratio in regards to water and choice drink and choice drink must be refined and aged! I don't drink to get drunk (I don't have time to feel crappy!) But with a wife (and I have a good one but still) and two babies in diapers, man it's a necessity!

I haven't had a drink in several months, and haven't been drunk in a couple of years (recovering alcoholic here and not ashamed to say it because I'm kicking it's ass). But, i sure had a fondness for Wild Turkey 101. The kickin chicken. Still do actually. I can be walking around and out of nowhere taste it plain as day just like I'd took a drink.
Still have an occasional Bud Light but just not much taste for alcohol any more. Glass of wine sometimes with diner, you know. Bout it.

Yeah, I grew up in an alcoholic family and I just didn't get the bug! Getting drunk isn't worth it to me as I have a beautiful family and my decision making goes out the door when Im drunk. I don't think Ive been drunk in the last seven years.

Hey not to change the subject RicFoxx but when are we going to hear some more of your music man? Can't wait to hear some vocals of yours through that Sta. And while your at it, you can add to your signature "Cowboy thinks I'm one of, if not THE best singer he's ever heard" You tease me with only that one song on your SC page.

Man, that means a lot coming from you bro! Im excited to get at it as I have a couple of songs I want to do! A month ago i went to the ENT because i had ignored an ear infection for the first year after my daughter was born but I started to hear muffled and after being checked out I was told I have nodules on vocal chords! I was freaked because I love to sing and have worked my butt off to get my voice there. It was caused by reflux. He put me on reflux medicine and three types of allergy prescriptions. He also took an MRI because I think he thought it may be more serious. Good news is all I just have to take it easy for a while. I sung for about an hour last night when I hooked up the Sta Level and that is the first time Ive really done anything over 10 minutes and my throat is burning today. I made an appointment on Monday and I hope things are alright!!!

What does "don't drink to get drunk" mean? That's the only reason I ever do it...The first step is admitting...

Use to believe this worked just fine. Always felt like i sang smoother after one. Luckily i woke up. Also struggled alot with reflux. Think this was one of the main causes.

Thank God you got off of those things man, mom passed last June from Lung cancer way to early and she smoked like a chimney! My daughter was born with bad silent reflux and my dad also has it so I guess it's hereditary. I should have been to the Dr a lot sooner but lessoned learned!

There is no way for me to not sound like an alcoholic in thus thread. Haha. It's really not as bad as it sounds. Thurs was beer. Last night scorpion bowls and Narragansett Autocrat Coffee Milk Stout. Tonight white russians. Really though, I like good, moderately priced liquor. Oban 14 year is a favorite. Balvenie Doublewood. Buffalo Trace is a nice Bourbon. Milagro Anejo Tequilla is a nice one. Chopan. Bombay Sapphire. These are really what I'll normally reach for if I'm drinking. Nice beers include La Fin Du Monde, Victory V12, Red Hook Long Hammer, Kona Longboard, Seasonal Sams, Left Hand Nitro Milk, Dogfish Head 90 Minute, and Coors Light as my cheap, light, go to.

I'm a tequila person myself. I also enjoy stouts and porters and other stuff that I can't mention.

As previously mentioned here in the hallowed pages of RGO: Stella Artois. Honorable mention goes to Belvedere and - on rare occasions - Knob Creek.

Dehydration, in my personal opinion, is the cause of a lot of health issues and lack of energy. Now don't get me wrong...I have my vices but I definitely have to balance those things out.

None whatsoever unless you count redbull, coffee or espresso water. I drink that until I'm edgy and throw my phone across the room in frustration. I'm on my second iphone in 3 months, brutal. Really need to cut out a lot of the shit.
