I have a Samson patch bay and LOVE this product idea. And kudos to prioritizing your attention to those of us that slum it with 1/4 inch patch bays--we don't always get respect from the TT crowd here.

That looks really great! Will be very keen to see the TT versions when you get around to them. Also don’t forget XLR patchbays m.thomann.de/ie/art_p16_patchbay.htmAnd don’t forget international shipping either :-) I wonder if there is a workflow where a first customer for a given patchbay could work with you on the measurements to avoid you having to buy one of each. Better still get the manufacturers to lend you one and be their reccomended label creator. ... you are probably way ahead of me on both fronts ... apologies for the unsolicited business advice :-)

Very excited to announce that I have released the Write-Your-Own version of these patch bay labels. I currently have templates for Samson, Neutrik, ART, Behringer, and DBX. Still planning on offering fully customized color labels, but plan to make those available when the website tool is ready. I also plan on making TT labels, but have no ETA on those at the moment. Let me know if you are interested in one (or multiple) and I'd be happy to help you get labeled! Current pricing on the Write-Your-Own labels are as follows: $6.99 each or 5 for $29.99. $5 Flat rate shipping to the lower 48. A few notes: -These are laminated so they are durable and easy to clean. -I've found that the ultra fine tip sharpies work best on the labels -Expo brand Vis-á-vis wet erase pens also work well for color, but are more prone to wipe off -You can clean sharpie off the labels by using a little isopropyl/rubbing alcohol on a paper towel or q-tip -The stickers can be removed and re-used a few times without losing their stick. If you don't align correctly it the first time, no worries! You can peal it off and re-stick it. Attachments:

I just purchased one for a Samson patch bay and installed it tonight. Happy to report that it works great! Nice durable thickness and the fact that you can pry it off and on a bit to get it centered just right makes it idiot proof. A quality item. I'll be buying more!

Thank you so much for the kind review! we put a lot of thought into them. The idea is simple, but the execution is meticulous. Glad the details didn’t go unnoticed! -Ben

Glad you have something that works for you Any ETA for when printed will be available? We are working with a developer to get an online tool built so customers can easily design and approve a custom label in minutes. Too soon for an ETA, but we hope soon.

Following up on being able to get these customized via a web-based design template. Thanks! Thank you for checking in! We have been working hard to get our website pulled together. After going through two web developers we finally found someone that could help us with what we need. Once the site is up and running our next priority is getting the custom patchbay tool designed and usable.

I spent $30 on these because they supposedly can be used with Sharpie and were described above as being able to clean the Sharpie off with alcohol. Nope. Waste of money.
