Boulevardiers this evening. 1.5 oz bourbon, 1 oz Campari, 1 oz Sweet Vermouth, stirred with until chilled, strained into glass. Expressed orange peel over the top. Basically a bourbon based negroni.

Just don't dip into the mic budget! Ha! I have some bottles worth enough that if I sold like 6 I could afford a pair of Tonelux JC-37s. Not what I paid, just the secondary market on bourbon has gone through the roof. Kinda ridiculous if you ask me.

Dudes. Fighting Cock is pretty dang good for $15. Just had my wife try it blind after a couple amazing bottles that are about $150 and $85 a pop... She loved FC- as did I.

Pro Tip! thanks, jacobamerritt Washing my cola down with some Makers Mark tonight. don't why I do it to myself... hungover all morning. Straight bourbon, or mixed with rainwater or on the rocks? No hangover. But with anything carbonated? Head ache and even some body aches, every time.

Head ache and even some body aches, every time. Ive read that hangovers are often more a result of sugar content in drinks/mixers more than carbonation. That said regular old Makers Mark does seem to give me a head ache as well!

I've got to stop checking this thread. I'm usually in the middle of homework, and not the kind you can drink during, and it just makes me too damn thirsty. I enjoyed a bottle of Henry McKenna 10 Single Barrel over the last few weeks. Quite good. I think you're doing it wrong.

I’ve had the 20 year Pappy before and it’s great. I have a bottle and a half of the 12 year lot b winkle that only gets broken out on special occasions, and I only really drink it if I have some friends over to share with. That single barrel Old Forrester is great, as is the Weller 107. Folks here have nice tastes! So...what you doing next Thursday, old buddy?

My school/kids schedule doesn't allow for much drinkin'. Plus math and alcohol don't mix well. You know what they say...don't drink and derive. Edit: when I'm on a break (like now) it's a different story...

I think the last I had was some Bulleit Rye on the rocks at a friend's house. We didn't get to record because he was still building out his studio. I need to get back there.
Pandemic drink for a while was vodka martinis, with a lemon twist. Favorites were Stoli and Lusksusowa. Also discovered the Polish Mad Dog shot which is vodka, raspberry syrup and hot sauce.
Today I had some cheap beer with no flavor to speak of. But I also had a nice pilsner from Burial the other day, local stuff.
I can't wait for Covid to be over so I can properly toast with more friends and so on. It's becoming excruciating. Thank god for forums and comedy.

Larceny last night. What a beautiful elixir.
nothing yet today, the school frowns on dropping your kids off when you're drunk. Pfft . . . control freaks.
