Hot day, spent the morning 'pipping off' from work, mowing the lawn. Rewarded with a bud light we I mean Michelob Ultra, follow by another Davidson Reserve over ice.
Totally enjoying this day now.

Went camping for a week. Cheaped out. 1 bottle of Buffalo trace and 1 bottle of Jim Beam black. JB is just as pedestrian as I remember

Small batch rye vodka, dispersed in a glass of spring water with some lemon drops. Refreshing!

Made a classic old fashioned with Old Grandad 117 (maybe the perfect cocktail bourbon, good sipper too). Then a pour of Don Q Gran Anejo rum

From Treehouse Brewing Co. on Cape Cod - "Concert Beer" A very nice IPA. Yes, I'm a beer snob.

As I neared the end of the latest bottle of Basel Hayden, i cracked open a bottle of Woodford’s and a bottle of Lieper’s Fork sits waiting.
But i put the cork back in and just had a light beer from a craft brewery.

TC Craft Anejo tequila. NOM 1533 for the agave nerds. Incredible. Almost a white wine thing, lots of mineral, candied apple.
