It's my current lust...Tell me tales of its glory... The leap into the Deep End is a long one. And the water is really really deep. But it's not cold.

Me. I got one here in the rack above all those classic Lexicons. Yes, it's better than you think it is. It creams anything Lexicon, IF you want to 'sell the room'.
It's the only reverberator that sounds really great 100% wet, no Lexicon does that well. I run it at 96k analog I/O to my analog console. It's worth twice the price. I wish I had two of them.
Start saving your pennies...

No need to come and say things like this here Jim
You'll get people in deep shit with their ladies.
This is the one piece of gear that I'll prob never own. Just cost too damn much. sure its worth every penny. I would slap that sunset chamber of every vocal C'mon @exponentialaudio make us a preset for the exponential verbs that would come close to the sunset chamber in the bricasti

I've got one. It's great. Awesome. BUT It will not make you write better songs.... I bought twelve in the hopes it WOULD in fact help me write better songs. I think maybe it's because I'm running them and a less than ideal sample rate internally I'm still writing pedestrian garbage. Is it because I need a more vintage vibe and should sell a few and go with some old Lexi units? Please advise.

First, you already DO sell all your gear. About once every 6 months to a year..... And second, it might just help with the writing. Not with the production though.... At the very least, selling all your gear will help with writing / singing the blues songs though.

I've got two units (M7M) + remote. Agree w Jim's 'sell the room'. Unbeatable for natural stuff, jazz, orchestral etc, but not my choice for a more processed sound. Another observation is that the different algorithms sound a bit similar. It's cool that it has it's own sound, but for an fx box a few more diverse colors would have been cool.

I've got one. It's great. Awesome. BUT It will not make you write better songs.... Dr Bill, True but you can drown all the band songs in amazing reverb, and the reverb will sound amazing. I'm guilty of having one. John, seriously if you don't want to buy a M7 then never listen to one. That is honest, friendly advise and probably marital advice as well. I only got mine because I had a client who thought paying me money was different then credit. So I had him buy me one on Credit. Strange but in the end, I have a Bricasti!

I'd love to listen to a quick vocal and drum blind comparison between the hardware and those true stereo M7 IR's. I'd never buy me one unless I'm getting paid big buck but just for fun. C'mon, someone drop my jaw.

Oh - I've heard them...but I don't really have any business owning one...For major stuff, I hand off the mix 90% of the time. So...it would only see the light of day on demos...Now, a Burl clocking my Symphony...that could be useful...

I could make the argument that selling all your gear would make your songs better. Time and focus.

Can I hear a demo of one of these bad boys in action? I want to see what the difference is between a Bricasti and my TC

My gass is purely about making all my shitty songs sound BETTER! Isn't that what it's all about? Btw, I also rely on gass to make me perform my crappy songs better 8)

I could make the argument that selling all your gear would make your songs better. Time and focus. Then who would pay for extra studio time for singing? Mixing?

Got one here. Dan is right, if you listen to one, you will want one. I came from the world of acoustic recording, string quartets, orchestras, folk players, etc. When I was in the studio, I used a Lex 480 and 960. Those units sound great, but never sounded real. The tails always gave them away. The Bricasti is the first time I've heard a box that sounded like a real space.
Don't get me wrong, I'd still love to have one of those Lex units, but they are more of an effect than sounding like a space.

Whomever paid for the "not extra" studio time? But, that's also proving my point. You're just explaining why in this musical economy, it's not a viable option for you. im also not expecting you to take that too seriously. I know I didn't in the day.
