Looks cool as hell…is there some sort of user guide? It doesn’t say what the different “25” and “84” buttons do…I thought maybe 1084…but it doesn’t say. www.voosteq.com/support/ User guide

Running PT on Mac Studio when in Rosetta mode pro tools seemed to be just a hair slower. Loading and loading plugins etc . Not really enough to matter for me as it was very slight difference.
Edit : thought I read pro tools last update speed up the loading scanning plugins

AudioScape is proud to announce the modern relaunch of Modular Audio Products, otherwise known as MAP. The first release for MAP (Powered by AudioScape) will be the DAM-27 dual preamp, based on the old Melcor AM-27 preamp. Each channel features our proprietary, in-house manufactured, MAP 1731 all-discrete class A op amp, as used in the original AM-27. These were the first op amps used in audio gear, by Melcor Industries, in the late 1960’s. Each of today’s MAP 1731 op amps features the same carbon composition resistors and transistors as originally used. The DAM-27 is like having a NOS AM-27 built 50 years ago . It has that unmistakable harmonic sheen and midrange richness.
Price: $899.00 Available: Early Summer (maybe sooner)
Dual channel 899$ damn nice price !

I had pretty good results separating acoustic guitar bleed out from a vocal track . I only used it once for this particular project in demo mode and didn’t buy it . I also found this one and it’s free ultimatevocalremover.com/Not sure I used it fo intended purpose.

I bought a MBP a few months back .Compression is great , and the SFE function is phenomenal can really open up a mix.. The red and blue transformer options very nice. Unit can also do M/S
My sometime studio partner was working on a small label release and ask me to run one of his mix thru the MBP . After the label heard the track they asked to have the whole project ran thru the MBP Its one of many nice options out there
Edit: The above was all before mastering , but I do have a friend that’s bringing his bands ep here and mastering thru the MBP

Looks interesting 698$ price tag www.kemper-amps.com/products/us/profiler-player.htmlLIQUID PROFILES For the first time ever the acclaimed patented PROFILING technology seamlessly assimilates with modeling. From now on guitar players and producers can enjoy the exact PROFILEs of their individual amps PLUS get access to the original sonic bandwidth of the original amplifier design and tone stacks of their amps’ brand. Compared to your regular PROFILEs the Liquid Profile now features the exact authentic tone stack and authentic "gain-behaviour". The limits of the snapshots are a thing of the past. Now you can play authentic. Or, of course, even try tone stacks of a classic Class A combo on a Plexi Head and so much more! PROFILING and modeling! You are getting both worlds, not only the best of both worlds. Both worlds! That’s a bold statement, yes. With the PROFILER you always have access to bold worlds!

Process audio Decibel metering . Just for the fact you can have the meters on an iPad or other device always showing and not taking up Daw screen space . Too pricey, but goes on sale often process.audio/en/products/decibel

I'll second the Lynx Aurora N. It just enables me to get better and better. Even just plugging a K701 into its headphone jack enables me to make stuff that translates onto anemic cheap speakers or the car stereo. I don't even use VSX anymore for the most part. Take that for what it's worth. The one issue I have with it is occasional crackling with using hardware inserts in Pro Tools HD over USB on Windows. When committing the file. Others have had the issue too. When I've emailed with Paul from Lynx about it, we haven't exactly figured out the source. The only plugin I'm inserting before the hardware insert is Maat LinPro. Nothing after usually. Some days I get no crackles and other days seemingly every committed file has one somewhere. This is at 96k with it set to safe and 2048. The manual doesn't really detail what safe, extra safe, and these usb streaming mode settings mean and so far I haven't found a great explanation of them. The Hilo manual has a section about them though. The Aurora N also is tremendous just to listen to music on and I've heard dozens of more expensive headphone listening systems at various conventions over the years. Wow I’m getting that crackling on my Lynx n32 with hardware inserts . I’m on a Mac Studio thunderbolt . I have 44.1 , 48, and 88.1 sessions and get this crackling intermittent
