How many SSL 4000 E channel strips (the new one) can you fit on a octo card at 96K? I tried it again recently and wow, what a great sounding plugin. One of my favorite plugins. I really love how the compressor sounds too. Can anyone comment on how that plug compares to the Console 1 4000 emulation?

I re-mic just about every virtual instrument track with Ocean Way Studios. I'd love to see an expanded version of that plugin come out.

Can you use a thunderbolt satellite with a reverb in real-time without latency?

Can you use a thunderbolt satellite with a reverb in real-time without latency? It depends. On your buffer and your sensitivity to latency. But I'd say for most, this technique works.

I had no idea you could record the AUX track from console into the daw. Asked at the UAD forum and drew to the rescue.

I have them both. I could just make clips...
They are both great. Something makes me feel like the Console 1 is a little more open or less colored. The UAD having more tone to it IMO. However where as some will see that as one being better than the other, I like them both equally. I just use what I think will work best in the situation or whatever direction the breeze happens to be blowing.

Breeze blowing are the key words...
