I guess just to keep things from becoming complacent, Joshua is sending out emails letting clients who ordered ADG’s to switch to ADF’s with the increased price.
So, why would someone want an F over a G revision sonically?
It will includes 2:1 ratio which would be useful?
Thx!

Seems the F is the cleanest 76?

I don't' care about either an F or a G. I barely care about having a D anymore with the Splice A Bluestripe. I wouldn't sweat it.

ps forgot to mention the last Stam email is very clear about if you chose to switch your order ,that your place standing will be maintained, which would mean you would be in the first batch of the the ADF's if you're in the first batch of ADG's.

Seems the F is the cleanest 76? Got the same email and have the same questions. The article you linked on the revisions says the rev G “has the potential to be the cleanest 1176 yet” which would make sense as the F/G are the same except the F has an input transformer and the G doesn’t. I think the revision list is chronological so when it says the rev F has the least amount of harmonics it means compared to those that came before THEN they took out the transformer and released the G I’m personally leaning towards keeping the ADG because (a) I’ve never used either the F or G so it would just be a guess as to which (perhaps) subtle flavor I would find more useful (b) I like the idea of having the potentially cleanest 1176 on the very slim chance the other 2 don’t work on something (c) we’re so close I don’t want to add to the wait and (d) the ADG is slightly cheaper and, frankly, I think it looks better My thoughts exactly.

When did you guys order? I was May 4 at 10:05PM EST. I'm in the second batch, but have the initial pre-order price.

May 6th 2:40pm EST. This unit rocks!!! Wait until you get yours! You will love it!!! I’ve been running my Stam 1073EQ into the Stam 76ADG and it hasn’t moved off my vocal chain since I received both my units in my dreams. Lol. Second batch, as figured.

Ha ha but I like those kind of dreams, especially meeting the lonely fairy princesses who bring new gear!

My next future ex wife will buy me gear. Taking a while to find her because she has to be able to afford to buy me gear! This future ex wife gear buying business takes some time.

For me, I'm rarely even using the D side of the splice. I love how mike nailed the A side... and that's awesome for me.

You’ve piqued my interest in the splice as the rev A is what I’m really looking for. Tried a couple of the top clones but haven’t found what I’m looking for yet. 🤔

I'd say the Splice is a tad brighter while the Pro Replicas has a bit more grit/vibe.

I can say I don’t have a CAPI endorsement and never have. Paid for everthing I’ve ever had. So you’re saying the same with the Splice? Here’s the real difference though, I didn’t come into a different manufacturer’s product release thread and pump up a different brand.

Here’s the real difference though, I didn’t come into a different manufacturer’s product release thread and pump up a different brand. Paid for every Splice (4), every SA3a (4), SB4001 (1). Love all of em. Can't praise em enough. Love em just like you love your CAPI gear. IMO, Mike is the king of compression. You can buy em today, and for those waiting, that may be of interest. Sorry if it came off as scammy.
