What are you guys paying for shipping on these things? For a pair? For a single unit?
I just got an invoice last night for two full price ($799) units (I won't even bother going into what all is wrong with that) plus $185 shipping here to Austin. Is that about what y'all are paying to have two ADGs shipped?
Also, it occurred to me that I have now received three invoices from Stam at this point. Two were for the requested additional deposit of $300, which I declined to pay for obvious reasons and the other invoice is the incorrect one I just received.
All of these invoices hanging out there don't somehow affect your credit if they continue to go unpaid, do they? I'm not worried that Stam is reporting any of this to the credit bureaus, but I also don't trust PayPal one bit and got to thinking about if there was a possibility that these hanging invoices could somehow reflect negatively on someone's credit?

First, I really don't think an unpaid PayPal invoice will ever be anything but that. No worries there. Second, I paid my ADG invoice and I was charged 105 for shipping to Ohio, USA. BUT, then there is this: It will be 95 USD for the US and 105 USD for Canada and Europe 150 USD for Australia and Asia We have added ventilation on the sides and top of the chassis, this reduced the weight of the units by almost 25% We also just got a discount from PayPal reducing our fee from 6% to 3.5% thus so shipping will decrease Thanks Joshua stam Josh, is your above shipping quote not accurate? Or was I charged the wrong amount for shipping? Your comment above said that shipping rate would actually decrease. But, instead it increased. Can you comment?

I think the $185 is about right, similar to my costs for units to Houston. I do not think you need to worry about the invoice and credit. You have not received goods, so if anything Stam Audio has an outstanding liability in the form of your deposit. He owes you, not the other way around.

I am sure you saw a reference to the 2nd batch being different but I wondered if they shelved that idea as I sent an email asking if the mkii features would be a diy kit for mki owners , seems odd to change it so quickly? Never heard anything back. Let’s hope they are head down pumping out product I'm supposed to be in the second batch, as originally communicated to me when I first purchased the ADG, though Josh messaged me here on RGO and tried to send me a first batch one right when these first started making their way out to customers. I declined because I wanted the second batch one with the additional features, whatever they were supposed to be. I was aware there were differences between the two batches, though there has been some confusion on what exactly those differences are supposed to be. Super slow attack? Stereo Link? By email, Teo did tell me that the PCBs in the first batch can be retrofitted to allow for super slow attack and/or stereo link. He said they would send you a PCB and tell you what to do.

As I mentioned, I declined for both of my stated reasons. I have no idea why he singled me out to offer me an unsolicited first batch ADG.

The only reason I can come up with is that maybe he was attempting to quell the anger I've expressed here and on GS about this process by jumping me ahead in line or something. I'm really not sure. It's not like I've been the only one who has been vocal about these things.

Meanwhile I've got probably a couple thousand dollars worth of preorders and was told mine would be shipping out Monday, then no response to the past 3 emails I sent to Camila. Pretty soon I think I may have to back out and get my money back on all these.

if 1 to the US is $95, why aren't 2 $180 , 2 boxes, twice the weight etc ? With shipping I don't think you get a price break for shipping more than 1.
Not saying $180 is not expensive, but you get them in 4-5 days from Chile.

Not saying $180 is not expensive, but you get them in 4-5 days from Chile. Was the $95 in reference to only ONE ADG? If so, then $180 or $185 would make sense for two. At least as far as I read it, I thought the $95 was in reference to TWO ADGs being shipped. It sounds like maybe not.

ragan What's the word? Any updates? I am still waiting on my invoice, even though I have confirmation of being in the first batch. LOL. There are no updates. I was invoiced and paid a month+ ago and then was told it was shipping For Sure™️ for a couple weeks and then non-responses since. Josh said he was getting PCBs last week and had some ready to go and blah blah blah. The reality is you can’t believe anything you’re told and you’ll only know you’ve got something when it shows up on your doorstep. But I mean, it took like 4 months from the time I was invoiced and paid for my 1073MPA to actually ship so I’m still ahead of the curve for a Stam order. Unfortunately it means I’ll hardly be able to touch the ADG because I’ll be back in school by the time I get it. I guess that’s assuming I get it before the next quarter is over, which is not at all a given. I was in the “first batch” too but I don’t think that stuff means anything. I ordered like an hour after it was announced and people who ordered after me have already gotten theirs. And also, as per ^^^^ Josh has offered people in the “second batch” delivery of theirs in order to quell their concerns. I don’t see evidence that they actually keep track of any of it. But like I’ve said, we all signed up for this. It’s been the same with Stam since day one and we ordered anyway so I don’t think we’re deserving of any sympathy. You pre-order (thus keeping the whole thing afloat) and hopefully a year or so later you get some gear.

Others here have gotten invoices and emails. I’ve gotten nothing...so I understand your frustration. Difference is, I haven’t paid the balance yet.

So I received an invoice for my pair of 1073eqs. Is there any indication that these are actually ready to ship? I'm ready to pay the invoice, but feel a little reluctant until I hear Josh say that these are currently shipping.
