The deal is, I have officially moved to my new home on the web! The new location is www.capi-gear.com. The old store site will redirect and update your bookmarks for 6 months and then disappear into the abyss. From now on, please call me “CAPI”. That is a safe acronym that everyone seems to agree on. In case you were wondering, CAPI is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by API. API is a registered trademark of Automated Processes Inc. You will see a fresh look at the new site including my new logo. The new logo is based on the all new CAPI Signature Control Knob. You can read more about the new knobs here. capi-gear.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=202_206&products_id=490At the bottom of the CAPI Knob page, I share some details on why no full kits are in stock at the moment. If things go as planned, I will have full kits (with the hold-me-over knobs) in stock next week. Make sure to have a browse around so you can see the rebranding look for all of the modules. BTW, I upgraded the store to a dedicated server IP address for future SSL encryption. Since the move, I have noticed some random times of very slow response. If you have any trouble with the new store, please shoot me an email. sales[at]capi-gear[.]com Thanks for all of the kind words during the transition over the last month, as well as your past and future support! Cheers, Jeff

not sure what to say... I liked the old aesthetic. But I also like the new clean look. Maybe originals will be worth more one day!
I do see two new EQ designs, care to share?
Congrats Jeff!
(I assume that it has been prompted by a certain legal issue)

The new EQ's are LC25 and LC40. Basically rotary graphics done with switches. The freq points are different between the 2 units. The model # essentially designates the lowest freq band and they climb pretty much in octaves from there. I think the points on both of these are more useful especially on drums that competing 10 band graphics. They are still in the late prototype stages. I would have had them fully done and tested but something has keep me very occupied as of late! Thanks for all of the kind words my friends

Looks great! More of a modern feel, but still classy as hell. Of course, they still have that CAPI sound...

Looks fantastic. You could call it Classic Salami for all I care and I would still buy the shit out of it. Classic Audio Bacon? I don't know it's good though.
Feels like a step in the right direction. I always had some kind of minor urge to separate it more from the API brand in name. Congrats on stepping out onto your own a bit more. That's an impressive line of products.

I already said it at facebook, but I'll say it again. This is awesome. It feels as if this whole thing is actually giving you forward momentum instead of cutting you off. And well deserved, man. I wish you all the best in this new period. I'll have to change my studio keychain asap.
