One of many examples. I straight up can't use Luna for tracking until things like this happen for the same reason. I track myself playing drums and other instruments and I'm not going back to a world where I'm running to my desk and then doing Olympic hurdles to get back to the kit/piano/guitar whatever. I know that on the UAD forums the word is basically that Luna itself is too early in dev for it to make sense doing those types of things, and I guess I can kind of understand that. I think they really just need to support MCU protocol and then the various iPad apps will be pretty straightforward. Maybe Drew can comment. A blue tooth keyboard can change your life. It's helpful for starting and stopping (and this is what I used to do before discovering Logic Remote), but it's definitely a workaround. Fair point, but still short of what most competitors can do.

MCU will be a big step forward,, wonder if in time they’ll do a Luna remote, like logic’s ? I just want an IPad control. I would think they are developing a controller for Luna, but I still feel that’s a ways away. Hopefully, they don’t use more resources to develop more Guitar pedals....🙃 Oh man... I stayed away from that morass on the "other" forum. I'm sure those pedals sounds great (everything UAD makes sounds great), it's just not for me. I haven't used anything other than a tuner since I was like 22 years old. Although the OX is starting to get me curious I have to admit.

I can't blame UA for developing a cash cow during supply chain breakdowns.

I can't blame UA for developing a cash cow during supply chain breakdowns. . I agree, they did something fairly cheap with R&D, and it probably didn’t take them long to get the G pedals to market and on shelves. A few cool videos...yeah, I guess I’m looking at this from the wrong perspective, as most guitar players already have their boards completed, and I guess when you have your rig finalized, their isn’t many game changers in this area. The power of You Tube, you can search for your brand or new pedal venture without worrying about buying the wrong thing. Eventide did the H9 and I used my H3500 and I ended up selling the H9 because it wasn’t even close, and I don’t like to use my cell phone or iPad to control 1 piece of gear. If it’s a DAW controller, that’s useful! I get it though, UA is still inventing new streams of revenue, with a teaspoon of sugar in the most delightful way, I guess! 🤣

I can't blame UA for developing a cash cow during supply chain breakdowns. Oh yeah, for sure. I just personally have no interest. I also disagree with those who say there's no market for $300 guitar pedals. There absolutely is.
