Glad you're enjoying it John. LUNA is the future of music production we think. Toss in UA-Bock mics and you've got the best of everything.

Nothing to announce at this time, but David and his team are settling in nicely.

Very cool: glad you are having a positive experience! Could you post a screenshot of Luna console? Thx. I can, but I haven't really started mixing it...just playing around...but I also protect trade secrets

I think I still prefer the Neve Summing. Obviously, this isn't mixed, but it just gives even more of that bottom thump and isn't quite as bright as the API.

Johnkenn Damn, that sounds like a finished mix with the ATR. I like the API more for this track, but I could see others preferring Neve. Definitely sounds more convincing than any other summing emulation I've heard, too.

I'm just amazed at how - with that FEW plugs - the mix can be enhanced so much.

I'm just amazed at how - with that FEW plugs - the mix can be enhanced so much. This is the entire goal of LUNA. To go back to where the tools mattered and added to the production, instead of boring ass DAWs that don't help it sound good.

Check you don’t have a coupon and if you have 102 and neve, check price for new Luna collection bundle: 102, studer, neve and API, it seems to offer a little discount over just purchasing API X by itself?

Dang I just bought the Neve summing with rival and Moog bundle. Wish I would’ve waited rather of had the api summing I think. Until I upgrade computer it’s going to be tough to use Luna VI’s.

I think I still prefer the Neve Summing. Obviously, this isn't mixed, but it just gives even more of that bottom thump and isn't quite as bright as the API. You can certainly hear the kick thump a bit stronger with the Neve. I don't know. I'd have a hard time deciding between one or the other, because it all sounds like a very polished production. I think I might lean towards the Neve as well. I haven't bought any of the LUNA-only extensions, but I already owned the APEX, and it definitely adds glue and polish used in LUNA. I like the idea of the package with the two summing options and two tape options. That would add studio mojo to just about any ITB project. It's damn expensive though. The free LUNA just went way higher than most DAWs cost with that bundle, which is really the hype they are using to differentiate LUNA from other systems.

I own everything but the API. Gives me $50 off. Guess that’s better than nothing. How do you check to see if you have coupons?

Put it in your cart and go to buy page: you’ll see any coupons at top right.

That sounds really good. That Neve just blooms. Well done. The ATR just finishes things so well.

Sounding really good. One question: Can you drive these summing plugins to get a nice soft clip, shave on transients, etc?

Yes, as you can drive the headroom and trim.
